I moved here. from Texas, last year. One of the things Ive been missing are sausage and cheese kolaches. I couldnt even find the right kind of smoked sausage, at the grocery stores, to make my own. So, imagine how excited I was to find out that one of the only Kolache Factories, in California, was less than an hour from my house!! I called them to see if they were really open (it was Sunday, after all), and they were. However, they were out of my sausage and cheese kolaches. Wonder of wonders, though, the woman I talked to (Im so sorry that I didnt get her name) offered to make some for me, even though the store would be closing within an hour of my arrival to pick them up. I couldnt say no, lol. Long story, short, I drove over there, and they not only had the ones Id ordered, but a whole passel of other kinds, as well. I will definitely be returning, for a wonderful taste of home.

Just found this place & I love it! I had never tried a Kolache before & I guess Ive been missing out cause theyre so good! Theyre little round bun-type breads stuffed with different filling...like eggs and bacon or there are sweet, fruit-filled ones. And theyre super cheap! Like $2.26 or so for bacon & eggs. Very fresh, they sit most everything is baked there. Delicious!

Kolache Factory is one of the best bakeries Ive known when it comes to cakes or breads we usually take out. But last weekend we tried their dine in breakfast where ordered simple sandwiches. It took awhile before we got our food and the quality of sandwiches were average considering its costly price. Next time I would stick with their pastries.

Food is good, not great and at almost $3 for a single Kolache it is just to much for me. I bought a dozen and ate two didnt feel full. It took another two to fill me up so lunch was about $12 bucks for 4 Kolache. I will not be going their again.

5 star, fresh at great price. If you take: 1 as snack, 2 is a small meal, 3 you will feel full, 4 full if you are starving, 5 you will be 100% full, 6 hard to eat even if you were starving, 7 you cannot eat it, but you can take it home

The kolaches are great, its never usually busy so it doesnt take long to get in then out. My favorites are the sausage & gravy, and the jalapeño popper. They also do a flavor of the month so its nice to try something different.

I havent met anyone who doesnt like their poppers so far (savory fillings inside a slightly sweet bread bun). I like the chorizo ones, but most people like the jalapeno poppers (theyre like 50% cream cheese).
