We decided to try Growers Pub on a whim. Although Ive lived in Salinas for over 25 years, I had never tried it. We got excellent service from Zack, and our Prime Rib was nicely done and beautifully plated with steamed vegetables and scalloped potatoes. The prime rib was done perfectly, on the rare side of medium rare, and came with a nice au jus and creamy horseradish. Although, the creamy horseradish was more sour cream than anything else, so we asked for some raw horseradish to mix into it and get it to the right flavor profile. Overall, a very nice meal and I would recommend it.

Recommended to me from a co worker who grew up in Salinas so I had high expectations walking in. The service was terrible, our drinks never got refilled without flagging the server down and she never even stopped to see if we were satisfied with our food. The food is NOT worth the money. The steaks were tough and not cooked to our wellness. I wanted to get away from a chain steak house to get a better experience but sadly I was incredibly disappointed.

This place was garbage . Saw so many good reviews about it and was so disappointed. Our food was rushed cooked and not very well done and the waiter kept trying to take the drink menu as if there was a shortage and he had to show other tables. Every second was disappointing. I mean I tried so hard to smile while I was there... They were so rude the woman who was acting manager was in the cooking area mocking people.

Seriously a hidden gem in Salinas! Our waitress was fast, attentive, courteous, and nothing less than perfect. Food was great. Im disappointed Ive lived less than a mile away and this is my first time in 4 years

AWESOME! The Pub has the best Prime Rib in central ca by far. I am a steak lover and will go nowhere else when I want a great cut of beef. Five star establishment. And priced for the working mans budget. Curtis

Food was very good. Would have given 4 stars but one star was taken away due to my lousy drink. I ordered a Manhattan and was not given any options, so well whiskey and poor presentation.
