Not really my scene, but decent enough for the area. Located at the far end of Sutter Street close to Chicago Fire Pizza, there are bands that play here and a small dance floor. The eclectic interior has seen better days and there are two restroom areas. One is absolutely disgusting -- it is shared with Scarlets next door. The other is slightly better, but not enough stalls in my opinion. Like Scarlets, there is a phone that calls Chicago Fire next door. You can order pizza and someone will deliver to the bar for you. Last time I was here, the band was sooo loud, that I stuffed bits of napkin in my ears to block out the noise, realized that I looked like a freak and then left.

I like coming here on country nights. A way different and much more courteous crowd than any other night. drinks are good, live music is appealing but the place ALWAYS smells like urine. They really need to rip that disgusting carpet out! Its a freakin bar! Drinks will be spilled AMD.they clearly dont clean that floor EVER so it always smells like mold.and.urine.

Was an diverse scene with a place for everyone. Drinks were pretty good although I didnt have anything overly fancy (Jack & coke and beer). The bad that was there was great, but I felt a $12 cover for a small bar like this was a little much considering you can pay $10-20 in SF and see big name performers at some places.

I always have a great time at the power house. Yes there is a cover most nights and the drinks are a bit $ but the bands are usually legit and Ive never seen a real fight here. Jennifer at the pantry bar mixes the best drinks. If you come to Folsom have a dd or plan on taking a cab. The cops watch this corner all night.

This place was totally packed and jumpin! Myself and my date had an outstanding time listening to a =the band play top 40 music from across 3 decades, I do not remember the name of the band, all dressed like NERDS, but I will edit this post when i find out. Go to the Power House, you will not regret it!

I LOVE POWERHOUSE PUB!! Ill be there this Wednesday for WHITE MINORITIES CHRISTMAS with WHITE KNUCKLE RIOT and Im so looking forward to it. The place is intimate, the sound is great, and the bartenders are nice even though I dont drink alcohol...Great place for a gig and its 21+

The Powerhouse rocks with rock bands. Every time I come here I see a good one. I caught Tommy Castro here once and I cant imagine a better place to see him play. Good beer, great vibe, cool crowd and Old Town Folsom is a great place to walk around. Nice to see them doing well.

This is a great place to listen and dance to blues bands on Sundays when our boomers groups hang out there. It has funky decor and nice outdoor areas, too. If it it had proper A/C wed give it 5 stars, as its terribly hot in summer for dancers.
