Love the place, love the dog-friendly patio. Didnt love watching the large lady across the street loitering on the sidewalk in only her bra and undies! Our server was horrible, she appeared to be under the influence of something, couldnt remember our orders. Our food came out before we got the beers we ordered way before we ordered the food. The food was average, priced appropriately. I liked both beers I ordered. Unfortunately for the business, but fortunately for us, our waitress informed us that she lost our check and to have a great evening, allowing us to eat for free. I guess that made up for her crappy service and the blue nail polish we found in one of our beers from her nail polish that was half gone and chipping off. If I lived in the area I would give them another shot, but definitely not worth driving 30 minutes.

Great little neighborhood pub in a quirky old building that has been lovingly restored using some interesting industrial style fixtures. It includes a large outdoor patio area and art on the walls. Most patrons just park on the street in front or back, but there is a small parking lot available entered from the back. Lots of delicious self-brewed options on tap, as well as a few guest handles. I enjoyed a burger and fries that was on their specials board on my visit and both were great. The quality of the meat was clear and the shoestring fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Besides the bar and outdoor dining options, they have lots of high-top seating, some tables along the wall, and some comfy seats in the front window. Solid 4 star stop. No hesitation in recommending.

I have been twice. The service is excellent. The atmosphere feels like youre at home in your own back yard with friends. Its relaxed. People had their babies with them. Some even brought their dogs. Whether youre inside or out, its a pretty enjoyable place to be. Now my goal is to try a different brew each time I go. The last time I went, I had a nice white wine. This time I had the Lily White Witbier. Its smooth and has a great aroma. Almost like a floral aroma or flavor. But I am no expert on beer. You gotta come try it for yourself. I did order the Shrimp and Grits which was very flavorful. It tasted as good as it looked. It was just enough and not to heavy. Also a perfect match for the beer.

Great food and beer!!!! We ate at Burgers & Brew on R street the weekend before and loved it. So, we were hesitant to try something new this weekend as we only allow ourselves 1 "calories splurge" meal a weekend. We were worried that we would regret not going back to Burgers & Brew. Wrong. We loved the burgers, fries AND fried calamari a lot!! more so than Burgers & Brew. Even our 9 years old son who agreed. The urban industrial decor reminds me of the places I grew up with in my hometown San Francisco. Great addition to Sacramento. Looking forward to our next visit soon.

Have been here several times hoping that they would redeem themselves...the beer is ok...but getting worse each time I visit. The food and service is the worst I have expire need anywhere...thespecially servers greet you and get drinks out 15min after you get seated...then if you can flag someone down you might get an order in at about 30min...and 45min after that your cold tasteless food arrives... After my last visit I shall not go back...they havent done anything to remedy thelse issues and I have been visiting infrequently over the last year. Save yourself and go someplace else

Good food, easygoing and friendly staff solid beer selection. The decor of the brewery is minimalist, but they have rotating local artists on the walls. The staff are very friendly and eager to take your food and beer order, even on busy days. Food he is good, much better than the standard pub fare you would expect from a brewery. Beer selection has something for everyone, from IPAs to strong dark ales. Good for groups and the outdoor patio is stellar during the summertime.

Awesome tap room setup. The tap handles are amazing. The rustic feel is fascinating. The beer is good, but not excellent. Currently 10 house brews on tap. And 4 guest brews. Decent seating areas. Bar is of a decent size as well. You can see the fermenters through the glass windows inside the seating area, which is also awesome. The area outside of the brewery isnt the greatest, as it is Oak Park. Dont get caught out here at night! Daytime is fine, though.

Ive been to OP brewing a few time now, twice for lunch and a few happy hours. Ive enjoyed the happy hours, but have been less than impressed with lunch. I love the brick building and the ambiance of the brewery. The beer is good as are the small plates, but I have yet to find an entree that doesnt leave me feeling annoyed because it is lacking in several areas. I will likely still give OP brewing a try for happy hour, but I will go elsewhere for food.

Way too expensive for subpar. Beer is OK at best and the food is priced at 5 star rates but are college student quality. Also found aluminum foil in my food. I told the waitress and all she said was that she would let the kitchen know. Seriously? You serve me metal in my food and you dont even care? Never going here again. The fact that they had a sign hanging in the window that said they were closed should have been enough for me not to go in.

I live close, so I come here once every couple months. Wonderful steampunk decor. They have a small menu with a couple daily specials, and the food is always good. About twelve beer options - mostly their own (they also do growlers), with a couple guests. Lots of seating and outside patio is awesome, with a giant Jenga in the middle. Street parking. Service does seem a little distracted as one reviewer mentioned.

First time there, tried an citra IPA and it was so good, thats all I drank. Wonderful atmosphere, and huge back patio with plenty of big umbrellas to block that hot sun. A waiter even came by and moved an umbrella to block more sun shinning on me - I didnt even ask, but he read my mind. Sampled some snacks - it was ALL GOOD. So glad to see a company like OPB add much needed vibrancy to the area.

I use to talk about them quite a bit esp the burgers but the food is changing and so is the service. When the hostess walks by you several times after being there for 10 minutes with no drinks on the table acknowledges you and doesnt even offer water but rushes for the table that just walked in, theres a problem. Especially after she does that and walks by a few more times.

Ordered Short Ribs. Got served little short pork ribs. Waiter and cook both said "these are beef short ribs" - not... I know ribs, have cooked them for decades. Not an excusable mistake. Beer was good but seemed kind of over priced for what it was. Will not return. The wine barrel tables were not comfortable and the bird poop on the barrel top was not appealing.
