BETWEEN THE REVIEWS w/ Rodney S Q) Rodney, youre an on-again, off-again regular at IHOP. Why is that? A) Rodney, its the promos that suck me back in! I receive free Rooty Tooty Fresh N Fruity coupons for my birthday month & email club anniversary, there are 20% off coupons in the circulars & for all the sexy seniors - Wednesday is Senior Night, with a free entree with purchase of an entree & 2 drinks from 3pm - 9pm. Q) Are you fan of their namesake pancakes? A) I am! Ive partaken of their pumpkin pancakes, New York cheesecake pancakes and, if I remember correctly, their red velvet pancakes. They were all sinfully good. I try to stay away from grains now, but for those who like pancakes, then indulge in one of their fluffy stacks. Q) What did you have during your last visit, Rodney? A) I had the bacon, avocado cheddar cheese omelet, Rodney. It came with choice of toast, pancakes, hash browns, fresh fruit, etc. I love the crispity crunch of hash browns, so those were what I selected. The omelet was good, with large strips of bacon wrapped in fluffy egg, liberally sprinkled with cheddar cheese. A whole avocado sliced & placed on top capped the dish. Once my avocado trees start having a good yield of fruit, I think Ill take an avocado with me whenever I dine out. That way, I can add the creamy, unctuous fattiness of avocado w/o having to pay extra for it ;p Portions were good and, with a smathering of Cholula hot sauce, was a satisfying meal. Q) How was the sevice? Any other thoughts? A) Service was sufficient. It seemed our server was busy handling other orders, but wasnt complete avoidance on her part. Ample booth seating. The restaurant was clean and parking is plentiful in a private lot shared by Jack in the Box, Subway, Enterprise etc. Q) Will you be back, Rodney? A) Those promos are the bait that hooks this big ol bass again & again. So, uh yeah, Ill be back! Recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

I do not eat at IHOP often. When I do, I hope that it will be as good as I anticipate. This location let me down. I was looking forward to the new Swiss Mocha Coffee I had seen advertised. The presentation is good with a large cup covered in whipped cream, but it did not taste like it looked. It was bitter and tasteless. I had them give me a coke instead and was equally disappointed. It tasted like pool water and syrup. The water is heavily chlorinated and they need to get or change their filters. I assume if the filters are not maintained, there must be other things they are neglecting also. Needless to say, I was not too pleased with the food either. When I got the bill, I was charged close to $3.00 for the coke I forced myself to drink. I will not go back!

The only reason Im even giving two stars is because the food was decent, its the service that was awful. Ive always loved Ihop until I went to this one, and Ill never be back. We asked for creamer and the lady handed us a bowl of broken creamers with cream literally in a puddle at the bottom of the bowl...really? They took about 40 minutes to bring our food, theres no way eggs and hashbrowns should take that long. When they asked how things were, they werent genuine and you could tell they didnt care. We will be back to ihop, just never this one!

Waiter/waitress takes awhile to get to your table to take your order. Food service is really slow and the food is always served cold. Last time I checked pancakes are supposed to be hot. Prices need to be lowered. You can spruce up the restaurant all you want, if the service is not there people wont return. Go to Kimmies on Walker Ave & Ball Rd in Cypress. The food is served hot and its delicious and the price is right.

I have been here 3 times and each time I have had to send my food back at least twice per visit. I have had the manager come and attempt to explain to me why the food is not cooked properly or the way that I asked for it. Undercooked pancakes and raw hash browns are never acceptable by any standards.

We use to always go for Saturday breakfast; however the last 3 times someone in my group found a hair. The 1st time you try to chalk it up to an accident, but by the 3rd time you find some place new to eat. It is really sad because my family loved the food.

Moderate to a bit expensive. Good food. Clean. Friendly staff. Sometimes staff not paying attention to customers coming in. Had to say "Hello !" 3-4 times before one of three employees noticed me.

Great food. Fresh and well prepared. Friendly staff. Food is served quickly. Unfortunately, not as clean as it should be. It had a fowl odor and I related it to needing a good cleaning .

The pancakes are great. I love the different syrup options. The staff are attentive and friendly. A great place to go late at night after a high school football game or other event.
