Just a fair warning to everyone that comes to this place to eat...especially at night time. We came here with a couple of friends after a pleasant late outing. Not only did it take us two hours to get out of there because they took FOREVER to serves us our food, but to top it off, to our surprise, as we walked towards our car we noticed two of our vehicles tires were slashed!! When one of us went back inside to bring that to their attention...they simply said they dont have surveillance cameras in the parking lot & nobody that works there bothered to come & assist us in any way:/ For a restaurant that has so much high customer volume, it is a disappointment that they dont even care to have someone patrol or put up surveillance cameras to give their customers more peace of mind!!! Not cool...

I took out my girlfriend to this place, the host were nice and told us about the specials as we were being seated. Rhe waiter that was serving us took about 10 mins just to ask for our drinks. Luckily my girlfriend and I were ready to order because she took forever. Also as soon as she brings our food to the table she ask if we needed anything else in a rush tome and gave us a check. The attitude she was giving us was just terrible, it made my experience with norms awful, the waiters name was Kristine. It was sad because I use to come here when I was a kid mostly every week but I never experienced a waiter such as Kristine, literally by far the worst waiter I have ever met in a restaurant. Would highly recommend that Norms would fire her or at least coach Kristine.

I would give it four stars but the service was terrible. The waitress with a bumpit hairdo was so rude and completly ignored me when it was not busy and preferred to talk to her friends at another table when i said clearly "can i please have a refill " of my soda. She looked at me and rolled her eyes and continued talking to her friends there. Ive been coming here for about 7 years and could not believe that i was ignored.the service here is usually really good but next time Im hungry i might go somewhere else

I walk in hungry,but, need to wash up. Feel the stomach needing room I walk into the restroom and have seat. Nearing the end of my visit, I glance over and there- mocking me... Not 1 but 2 empty toilet paper rolls. 2??? Either the food Really runs ya thru Or Theres a grain of Laziness. ... hmm , Laziness + no Wash Your Hands sticker .....yeah, just wiped my Self raw with ass gaskets....Going home to shower and Campbells Soup myself before work. I might come back... Might not.....well see.

Theres always to long of a wait, place is always packed. I think thats the reason why the service suffers. There running around and by the time they get to you your starving. And the food is alright, for rushing thru it. When you finally get to eat, you better hope you dont need anything else, because you wont get it... The next time you see your waitress its so you can pay the bill, and get out they need your table.... For all that, I think they charge to much.

Horrible waiting and they always seem to loose the lists of people waiting to be seated. Guess really enjoy attentive services of competitive establishments. SPIRES used to be a BETTER choice until they closed at Telegraph Rd and Carmenita. Of course some times people really stand out with an excellent job: LIZETH is VERY efficient with her beauty and warm smile. Friendly clean well organized people like LIZETH really make a positive difference.

If you go after 9 pm which I have done 3 times in the last two weeks they only have cooked carrots as the veggie of the day. Every team the waitress says they have run out of the green beans. Cooks at night cannot get a steak cooked as well as earlier in the evening cooks. We love Norms as a diner but lately this Whittier store isnt prepared for late night customers and cooks cant cook a rib eye.

Every time ,when we arrived from Holland Eu . we took a room there in the neighbourhood . Our breakfest and dinner , was always at Norms ! Very Good , en verry friendly people who served us . Also lovely costumers ! Maybee when we have a chance to visit the states again , we like to visit You again . Thank You fir Everything !! Love You all !!!

A late night ER visit at PIH for a family member and needed to eat something since we missed dinner and it was after 10 PM. NORMS is open 24 hrs. and they serve breakfast, lunch or dinner anytime. The food was OK but the waitress was really cheerful and efficient when considering the difficult shift she had to work.

Order Bigger Better Breakfast , hash browns dried ,mushy not even hot. Ham dried and over cooked. Pancakes were good. Sad use to be favorite , but found new little family restaurant called Greenleaf Cafe in Whittier. Food is great , has the same breakfast but its called Grande. Sorry Norms , you need to step it up

Norms is one of the few places in town where the food looks just like the picture, if not better. The French toast is to die for. The sausage Patty is bursting with flavor. When the waitress brought our food, I felt like taking a picture, it looked & smelled sooo good. KUDOS to Norms for keeping it real.

The Gyros are good, but the carne asada burritos are all rice and beans, almost no cane asada and the few pieces were chewy. If you you go try something else. Save yourself some money and write a review like I did, to save somebody from a bad experience and help them save some money.

Went to eat with husband ,when we were 1st sitted we were well taken care of when our hostess went on her break and left someone else to serve us thats server never returned to see if we needed anything or any refills I was very disappointed with customer service

I can come here alone, or with a gang, or anything in between, any hour, any day, and get what I want to eat the way I like it. And theres nothing like Norms pancakes. The servers are good, friendly folks, who remember who we are, and where we like to sit.

Ive always get a great meal my favorite is the Porterhouse steak with baked potato vegetables Cesar salad and spicy gumbo soup, Ive been coming here about 10 years twice a month my favorite waiter is Pam shes the pretty asian lady very good service

Im standing outside right now, me and my family have been waiting an hour. Im very upset. This is blasphemy. Never come to this roach infested establishment. I seen one roach. The bathroom has no mirror. They had no soup without pork. Im kosher.

Well if you live in Norwalk, all I can say is their Steak & eggs $8.99 is tops in my book. The service at the Whittier location was very good. Norms out does Rosewood in Norwalk you get alot more food for you buck! Then you do at Rosewood.
