Though staff is friendly there, and its a nice atmosphere to hang out in if youre in no hurry at. I have tried to go through the drive through four times in the last couple weeks. Arriving at 7:20 am in the morning is crunch time for most working people. Ive had to leave the drive through all four times because service has been so slow, and thats only having one vehicle in front of me. I dont have time to wait ten mins in line and wait another ten mins to get my coffee. Thats ridiculous. There needs to be more staff on early in the morning. Im proud to help out small businesses as much as I can. But with customer service this bad. If Starbucks would ever come to Shawano. This place would never see me again. It doesnt beat Starbucks customer service thats for sure.

I have searched high and low for good coffee shops in central WI. Beans and Books is by far the best place I have found. Sheri and her helpful staff are the best, and are very knowledgeable when it comes to coffee and teas. They also have a lunch menu with great sandwiches and amazing soups (this coming from a soup snob). If you are in Shawano, they are right across from the Wal-Mart. Stop in and say hello!

Terrible service. We had a party of 3 ordering coffee and food. It was lunch time. There was only one person working - trying to juggle the cash register, the drive thru and making food. It was a bad scene. It took about 30 minutes to get my coffee drink. And 2 of us never did get our food. After 50 minutes we asked for a refund on the food. No apologies from staff. Sorry to say, we wont be back.

I absolutely adore this quaint little coffeehouse!!!!! The decor is lovely, its quiet, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, the lattes are fantastic and they have a wonderful assortment of baked goods!!!! The prices are the best Ive seen from any coffeehouse as well.

Fantastic coffee drinks done right with high quality ingredients! Stopped in here on the way home from Green Bay for a caramel breve to go- after one sip, my wife and I turned around to order another one! Thanks for the pick-me-up!
