This place did NOT have an inviting atmosphere. It smelled like smoke and it felt very dirty. I used the restroom when I first got there and it was disgusting! There was some kind of brownish liquid that had clearly soaked the roll of toilet paper and had dried on it. I was not about to use that! I did make the staff aware and they seemed concerned about the toilet paper at least. The lady at the counter was friendly, and handed me a menu, but the one she handed me was sticky and greasy feeling. I decided not to even try the drinks here.

My girlfriend and I stopped during lunch, and there was only one other customer in the shop. My girlfriend and I each ordered a latte, only to be snubbed by the barista. We sat for over ten minutes, and he never started our drinks. He spent the first few minutes talking on the phone, then he talked to the other customer for a while. Our half hour lunch ticking away, I informed the barista we would not be needing our drinks. I have never been so ignored by a business, let alone on a slow day!

This place is amazing!!! Their coffee is the best that I have ever had and it does not taste burnt at all!!! Compared to starbucks (which I love) they are awesome!!! The owner, Jeff, greats everyone and introduces himself. It has a very friendly/homey atmosphere. On top of that they support some amazing causes and a percentage of the money they earn is donated to a charity (forgive me, I forgot which one). I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is a fan of coffee.

Great drinks and even greater people. Definitely 5/5! This place is so amazing. It is SUCH a friendly and welcoming environment. The owner introduced himself right away and the tea was PHENOMENAL. plus its all fair trade. I am not in Dekalb very often, but from now on when I am, you can find me here.

Love this place! All are welcome and the environment is suitable to get work done, read, or hangout with friends. The owner is fantastic and works hard to remember your name. He provides options for all types of diets. I hear the coffee is great, but I know the tea is amazing!

Tasty espresso, relaxed atmosphere, and independent ownership are its best features. Really love supporting this place. Owner is very friendly and down to earth. I only say 4/5 because Ive come a couple times it was closed early.

This is a lovely coffee shop. The owner is very nice, and makes delicious drinks. Its also a book store! Great for book lovers! Theres board games, movie nights, etc. Much needed fun and calm place to relax.
