My fiancee and I both enjoy breakfast at monona family garden. Good food at fair prices. The owners and related family are VERY nice & accomodating. However, their other servers could certainly be encouraged to be a bit more friendly and attentive. If the servers were nicer, id give them a higher rating. Good food for the value!

Delicious gyros! Great coffee and one of the best breakfasts in the Madison area! Prices are exceptionally reasonable and servings are generous, more than one person can eat. Nick, the owner and host, is friendly and will be calling you by name in no time. Excellent service and a very clean restaurant.

They must have read older negative reviews, because I think everyone is very friendly. The last time I was there, the owner seated me and sat across the table to take my order. He made me laugh. My food always comes quickly. I like their fish fry and plan to go again this week.

A classic Americana family restaurant. Was appropriately busy for a Saturday morning. Wait staff was attentive and the coffee was decent. Pricing was fairly normal for the area. They appear to specialize in breakfast skillets.

The food was good..the waitresses seemed like they didnt want to be there or our business...my meal and the kids meals were supposed to come with dessert which she never gave us. The owner was nice though

Nothing was special about this place, food was warm when we got it even though it wasnt busy and the waitress was ONLY nice to us when it was time to pay. One of the VERY few times I left no tip.

Waitresses look and act like they dont wana be there. Plus they sts rude and never smile. My boyfriend never tips. But the food is good and the prices are fair.
