I would first like to say that my fiance and I just moved here from Virginia in June of 2014. Milwaukee Burger Company was the first restaurant that we went to, and we loved it! When our server found out we had never tried wisconsin cheese curds, they provided us our first order on the house! It was great! Our second visit was on a Tuesday where we super excited about your BOGO burger deal and 1/2 apps! We dined and had a great time again with plans to continue coming back on Tuesdays! My fiance and I went back for our third visit tonight and incidently had the same server as on our first visit. We asked about the BOGO burger special and the 1/2 price apps. Unfortunately, no more half price apps, but we were told you still offered the BOGO burger special. The way this was explained by our server, was that we would be responsible for the toppings of the build your own burgers. (I assumed the cost of one of the burgers ($5.50 on the menu) would also be our responsibility). However, when we saw our bill here is what we saw (just for the burgers as we ordered an appetizer and a lit special): TU Classic Burger: $8.99 Provolone: $ .75 Apple Bacon: $1.50 Onion Straws: $1.00 BBQ: $. 50 2nd Classic Burger: $0.00 Mozzarella Cheese: $ .75 Brown Sugar Bacon $1.50 Relish $. 50 Mushrooms: $ .75 BBQ: $. 50 (Our entire bill was $30.30) I asked the waitress where the $8.99 total came from (thinking I missed this price on the menu), and she mentioned it actually isnt written anywhere and the manager had to talk to three other tables (in 1 day not including us) regarding this price confusion. The waitress continued to say, it is hard to explain but that we still saved $5.00 or $6.00 (which she mentioned prior to us ordering). My issue is this, your menu price shows the classic burgers cost $5.50. We expected to pay this price for both of the burgers in addition to the toppings. On our second visit we were not charged an additional amount (however we did come during lunch so I am not sure if there is a differential in price for lunch and dinner specials. However, if this is the case it is also NOT defined). Rather than raising a fuss in the establishment, I left a note on the receipt telling the waitress she was great, but to let the manager know we will not be coming back. This is completely FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! This is also misleading, and I am sure illegal! The waitress even said this price was NOT listed on the menu!!!!! I would also like to say, that I went on your website to write a formal complaint to corporate, and what do you know? You dont have any way to contact you on your website other than the phone number of the establishment. You better believe, we will NOT be coming back! You have lost two big fans of your restaurant and I will be sharing this experience with everyone I know, social media, etc. If you delete this post this will further my complaint. Have a nice day misleading customers who would have loved to keep continuing at your establishment!

Ive only been to milwaukee burger twice. The first time was ok, food was fairly good. My second trip to milwaukee burger was just yesterday & after that visit i do not anticipate going back anytime soon. My friend & I were on a time schedule, we both ordered pepsi which did not taste like pepsi so we ordered mountain dew, this did not taste right either so we gave up on even thinking of another drink change. Then we both ordered burgers well done, neither was well done, a third of the way through my burger is where i realized it was still pink, i asked my friend & hers was the same but she decided to go ahead & eat hers; our fries were also barely warm on arrival. Being on a limited time, i asked our waitress if she could just microwave the rest of my burger, she said yes & took it away, then brought it back & said thats not allowed because the food had already been brought out & served. I told her I cant eat it then. She asked if I wanted a box to heat it when I go home, being how I live over an hour away & I am aware of food that isnt fully cooked should not sit out that long I told her no just take it. There was no further communication other than to pay. Being that Milwaukee Burger is so pricey already & then being given no option but to throw out half of my food as well as my friend having to eat food that wasnt prepared as requested & isnt even safe to eat, it was overall a ridiculous experience that has made me not want to return.

I tried the fish fry this evening instead of the Jucy Lucy as I have had in the past. We have eaten here in the past for burgers. They offer fried or baked. Being that I ordered the all you can eat (AUCE) I thought I would try both. The first order of baked fish came out COLD. I notified my waiter, who was sincere and accommodating and he ordered up another order. I waited a good 10 minutes-both for more baked and fried. Once the baked fish was brought out, it was at a medium warm temperature at best. I notified the waiter immediately. He offered to bring out more, but I declined the offer. The Jucy Lucy ordered from another member of our group had very little cheese in the middle. I seemed to recall previous jucy lucy burgers ouzing cheese once bitten into-hence the need for a warning in the menu. Then I noticed the manager walking around the restaurant and wanted to let her know of our dissatisfaction, but we were unable to find her. Im not a big complainer, however I just wanted to notify the manager of a problem so that they can correct it and make it better. I will not be back.

I ordered the cheese curds for our appetizer. They are too big. They are cubes about 2 inches big. By the time they are fried, the cheese has leaked out and you end up with a half-filled cheese curd that tastes like oil. They had hardly any flavor at all. I ordered the Portobello cheese burger. The bun was bigger than the burger and mushroom cap, and it had cheese curds on top of it as well, and they too had no taste. The burger was grilled to the point that it was flat and pretty tasteless as well. I will give it one more try, as it was the first week being open, but I dont think I am going to be too hopeful.

Went here for lunch with my husband and daughter. The food was good, but my husband asked our waitress about the brewser special for $5. She told us it was for domestics and handed us a list. He chose leinies honeyweiss but when the bill came it was twice what we were expecting. The waitress explained that the leinies isnt considered a domestic, but she should have done that when we ordered. Hed asked specifically about the $5 brewser. Just an upsetting experience when he wouldnt have gotten that beer, or that large of one, if it hadnt been for the deal. Bad experience so I dont think well be back any time soon.
