We had a group of 20+, I didnt even know everyone in our group, but it was for a birthday dinner.... Our drinks were messed up, food was messed up, but it wasnt all on our waitress. She was kind and tried, but should have had help on such a large table. The worst part was the manager and her rudeness when there was an issue with the Birthday girls ID. She could have handled the situation with grace and ease, but instead she very verbally aggressive and rude. I henestly felt like my food had been tampered with even though me and my family had nothing to do with the dispute. I was outraged by this managers behavior. Will not return until new management is in place.

This was our third visit and our best. It was lunch on a Wednesday. The waitress was top notch. Wish I remembered her name. Very accommodating and friendly. And very well informed about the menu. This was a lunch visit with elderly parents who had food issues. She was so helpful. She also informed us we could get menu items without the side of fries or whatever, for a lower price. Perfect. The asiago dip for chips, fries, or whatever, is heavenly. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and we will go back again.

Awesome burgers. Went here with my sister while Im home on vacation. Had the monster burger. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had. The toppings were pretty good but the quality of the meat they use is excellent, you can tell it is fresh not frozen, and the patties are hand formed, not preformed like a lot of other places. Tasted just like I would make at home. The fresh potato chips were very good too. Definitely a place I will be back to when Im home.

Not a good experience. Tried the fish tacos, it was noted they came with Asian slaw...nope just dry cabbage. The Aeoli Sauce was may with some cayenne in it. Sent those back tried a chicken tender wrap. Again no flavor, just barely chicken and about a half of cup of red onion. No go...wont return...still charged me for the full meal. 0 stars if i could.

$11.99 for BURGERS-REALLY? I had a water and a burger & my two kids & wife each had a burger @ 11.99 ea and a pop @ 2.75 each! Recd our bill at 60.00 for BURGERS and 3 pops!! UNREAL! Hope the owners notice all the complaints that prices are way out of line. Never again- Felt RIPPED OFF. Wont even go in to the 16 oz domestic tap beer prices..

The atmosphere for a game here is excellent, with decent food - especially the burgers and service is great. The pricing is right on with enough parking spaces. The TVs and number of games on is what makes this a place different than most restaurants/bars on the south side of town. Will definitely be back for a game soon here.

Returned wanting the same salad we had a couple weeks ago. Explained to the girl waiting on us that the previous salad actually had lettuce, she laughed! The salads not only had very little lettuce, one walnut piece and no cheese. My husband refuses to ever go back again due to this terrible experience.... I agree with him.

The atmosphere at Monks is much better than Northwoods ever was. We ate there last night for the first time and can definitely say that the Mahi tacos had great slaw, but barely enough fish to even qualify as being labeled as a fish taco. The burgers were good, as was the rest of the meal. Well give it another chance in sure.

Really disappointing. Meatloaf was undercooked and had no flavor. Onion straws were soggy. Took the waitress like 10 minutes to even acknowledge us. Burgers are $11+ waaay over priced. Never refilled our drinks. Didnt come to get the bill to get our change but kept going to the table next to us. Not going back.

Pretty good! Went here for the first time with my girlfriend. We each tried the original Monk burger, both enjoyed it. She got the speciality monk fries, I tried the chips, both good! Waitress Abby was very nice. Good experience overall, would return! Good prices! Food pretty good.

Great atmosphere and wonderful food! We came with a large group and were seated immediately and had fast and friendly service during our entire meal! The fried pickles are the best Ive had anywhere, and the entree portion sizes are VERY generous! Will definitely be back :)

We celebrated my wifes birthday dinner with a table for 5. Great experience! Excellent service, comfortable seating, large menu variety, and quality food. I usually dont like onion straws, but Monks are worth a try. Thank you Chris, Jenna and the rest of the staff!

So I wasnt seated so I just went to go sit down myself the waitress just said hello and then looked at me and was like oh hiiiiiiiii with sarcasm so I dont think Im going to be coming back and maybe he might be racist who knows but what a horrible service thanks!!!!!!!

Server was very friendly. Very heavy on the sports theme. The food was a touch tasteless. Fries seemed to be from frozen. The jalapeños were very obviously from a can. I could barely taste cheese in the curds. Probably wont be back

We we in and out within a half hour of sitting down. Food was lukewarm. Prime rib was served within 5 mins, you could tell it was sitting on a heating plate. Tap selection minimal for the loud bar type atmosphere they strived for.

The service was fantastic!! Food is ready very quickly!! Portions are good on both appetizers and main courses!! Environment is very good!! Waiters and waitresses are very friendly!! I would strongly recommend going!!

Fair price... clean.. shrimp (boom booms) were awesome. We sat at the bar.. bar tender was friendly and engaged. The ice tea was iffy.. but overall 5 out of 5.. which is rare rating for us. Give it a try..
