Boo to Golden coral in Cross Lanes, WV.....You advertise free meals for our Veterans... Well we show up on Veterans Day & no Veterans free meal.... Printed note on their door apologizing for the inconvenience but they have changed the date for free veterans meal to Monday 11/17/2014. Shame on you Golden Coral Cross Lanes for allowing the veterans that showed up hungry only to be disappointed. Great marketing ploy though...make the money from the veterans that showed up stayed and payed on Tuesday 11/11 to pay for the veterans that will show-up on the 17th..... Veterans Day was Tuesday 11/11 not Monday the 17th.... Shame on you! Lucky for you we wont be back on the 17th, but thats really how you planned it..right?

Kind of not as good as it use to be. Have to stand and wait alot for things like mashed potatoes and the ham they cut. Never has the cotton candy and this time the lady said 20 minutes and finally we just left. Grandkids wanted cotton candy. I stood for 10 minutes waiting for somebody to get me some syrup and she looked at me but just kept on ignoring me till i hollered for her and she acted mad. Think ill not be coming anymore.

I keep trying this place thinking itll get better, but it wont. The last time I came here, about a year ago, there was a terrible sewage smell coming out of the bathrooms, and into the dining area. A year later, while not spilling into the dining area, upon entering the restrooms, we were smacked in the face with the same smell. I think Ive now given up on this place for good. The food has never been that good anyway.

They have roaches, the filthiest kitchen I have ever seen. Reading the older reviews, theyve had roaches for years. I am a restaurant general manager, and I dont understand how they havent been shut down by the health dept. Foods that should be kept cold for safety reasons are warm to the touch, sewage problems in the bathroom, mold in the kitchen and terrible food and service to boot!

I went here with my Fiance and a friend and het daughter and we all had food poisoning I would not suggest anyone eating here ever!!! It was hair in my salad the macaroni was stuck together and the pasta was cooked til it had busted in half!!! 4/12/16 is the day we went I spent 50 bucks to have to be off work 2 days and sick the entire week!!!

Pretty good selection of buffet style foods. Nice steak, cooked to order. Shrimp was a little difficult due to all the panko bread crumbs, but hey, I managed a plate or two of em! 4 stars because staff was friendly & courteous, and food was overall good. A wider & better selection would have gotten 5 stars.

Its a chain buffet restaurant, but their food was good and the service was nice. But Ive been here before and its not always the case. If youre going to go be sure to go when its busy because they do keep the bar stocked, and the food is always better when it is busy.

The golden cattle trough. More diabetes infested morbidly obese people than you can shake a stick at. The steak was quite good if you could survive the stampede long enough to get one. The rest was all fried or butter soaked buffet food. Not worth my money.

I like Golden Corrals. This one is OK. This last visit the service was light - that is I did not get the usual request if everything was OK. Happened Oct 2009 too. So that must be normal for this place and all the people that go there must be OK with it.

Food was great, service was great, all was perfect..... Until A COCKROACH WAS ON TOP OF THE COUNTER WHERE STEAKS WERE GETTING SERVED!!!!!! Absolutley disgusting to see or think about!!! Will never ever be back again in my life!

My mother n law and I came to eat. And everything was so fresh and delicious and our waitress Julie was so kind and helpful and continued to stay super busy with a smile on her face.. Thats good Service!! Great job chick!!

Worst place I have ever ate at, the meat was mostly fat, the food that didnt look disgusting tasted bland, then when we was leaving, we seen a roach near the plates. I will never eat at a Golden Corral again in my life.

This was probably the dirtiest, most filthy restaurant I have ever been in. some food seemed like it was reused from the night before. Bathroom was covered in feces and urine. Food was mediocre but staff were friendly.

This Golden Corral is a nice family restaurant. Took family and friends, 7 people total and spent $122. All you can eat and the staff there was great. A smile on every face and willing and happy to serve you.

Waitress picked up tips from tables around me but didnt offer to refill drinks, I wanted steak sauce but never had an opportunity to ask for it. I refilled our own drinks. Food was great
