My wife and i have heard nothing but great things about this place all week as the place to go....so finally we were able to go tonight.. we both agreed the business had a nice atmosphere and the service was very good. (Justin was our server). We started with alexander valley chardonay which with justins help matched our entrees nicely.. our appetiser a crab and phyllo with a grain mustard sauce (although not as mustardy as i would have liked..personnal taste) was very nice. I ordered the swordfish entree with risotto and a caper and olive relish which was cooked perfectly (i do believe there was chicken stock in the risotto though and should be mentioned for vegetarians). My wife got the mixed greens salad which was nice and the toasted pecans were great. We decided on homemade cream puffs for desert and i ordered an espresso both were great. I wont say everything was perfect, the dinning room is a touch cramped, tables very close together, and the bar was very loud for a nice quiet dinner in the dinning room, but we did love it alot. Although we heard the head chef was not working tonight, the sous chef did wonderfully and a hats off for the whole night. Thanks to lot 12 we will be back. By the way im a chef and can be very darn picky.

Sets the bar for fine dining in Berkeley Springs. Visited with a group of 7 over Thanksgiving weekend. We had the best time! The atmosphere is upscale comfortable, not stuffy. The staff was all amazing. Our waitress was just the best, hands down amazing sense of humor and very patient with our annoying table full of non stop jokes and quips. She told us she was a school teacher and well equipped to deal with our kind, we roared laughing at this! I want to say I remember her name as Becky, but I could be wrong. Anyway, shes the best! Her menu recommendations were spot on, each one of us loved our dish. We got two if not three rounds of drinks, Lemon Drop was spot on. We started by sharing several of the appetizers, including the Fried Quail, Seared Rare Tuna, Crab Dip, and Toasted Gnocchi. I can tell you, for a group of 7 we should have ordered three crab dips cause we devoured them, just as family does, each going all in fighting each other off the dish ! I had the Filet Mignon, perfectly prepared and delicious, perfectly paired with the brussel sprouts side dish. Highly recommended on every level, ambiance, service, food quality. Top notch guys, kudos !

After the rave reviews and the great website, I thought this would be "THE PLACE" to celebrate our anniversary. While the atmosphere and service was superb, the food was less than acceptable. After traveling extensively, I have experienced amazing food and this, simple…was not. I ordered venison sausage as an appetizer. While, this MAY have been good, the “BBQ sauce” that accompanied the sausage was spicy to a fault of being overpowering. For my entrée, I ordered the crisp roasted duck. Duck is one of my favorite selections to order, so I have had my fair share. This duck was dry to the point I could not swallow. I left more on my plate than I consumed. My husband ordered the calamari, which was flavorless and rubbery. He also ordered the trout, which I did not taste, but he felt was dry and unappetizing. If I ever visit Berkeley Springs again, I will steer far from this restaurant.

Great company in the cozy bar and met some friends there. If you have the chance, you need to try the crab and lobster dip and the BBQ flatbread. Bar tender was so enthusiastic. Most upscale restaurant in Berkeley Springs, ever!!!!!! If you are in Berkeley springs this is a must go restaurant. I have also tried one of the chefs sons pepperoni rolls, his has his own business, Jackos Awesome Pepperoni Bombs!!! They are amazing! Great food if you are in town you must come to lot 12.

My husband and I stayed in a cabin in nearby Great Cacapon for our anniversary weekend and decided to dine at Lot 12 Public House. We were so impressed from the beginning of the meal to the very end. The food was fantastic and service was good. We live in the DC area and have eaten at several great restaurants and rank Lot 12 Public House at the very top of our dining experiences. Try the buttermilk fried quail appetizer and you wont regret it. Thanks Lot 12 Public House!

I love an excuse to visit Lot 12 while in Berkeley Springs. Everything about it is great. The porch seating during nice weather is a great way to enjoy a relaxing fine dining experience!

New York Strip was cooked nicely. Girlfriend ordered the Pot Pie and it was wonderful as well.
