My wife and I have visited Trap door a few times. We have 3 children so its always nice having options we can go to with them. On a random week night we did not have the kids and stopped in for a bite and beer. There was a lady with 2 children that were a little rambunctious. Sadly there was a mid 50s or so very over weight guy that decided to take advantage of a mom with her kids. He cussed yelled and was totally rude. This patron was a regular and sitting at the bar. Both my wife and I would never sit by and watch a situation like this so my wife went over to show support and let the lady know to not let one jerk ruin your evening. The patron (regular) got more annoying and rude. I asked him to be quiet and show some respect. Got even worse. The entire time not one employee said a word. Personally I wont support an establishment that says the are family friendly and then allows a (regular) to harass a lady with kids.

Beer is good, check the specials they are good, and the food carts are great. Been here a few times now and am starting to enjoy the beer and space a lot more. Will be really great (and probably packed) when nicer weather returns. Decent space inside with a great looking patio. I think they have about 8 taps on now and it seems to continue increasing. Beer is average for entire region, but good for Vancouver. Seems to be improving, too. Enjoyed the music they were playing as well. Two food carts outside for food, a Thai truck and a Mexican truck. Only eaten at the Thai truck so far and it is called E-San - which also seems to be in Portland, but I dont know if they are affiliated. It is really good and a great value and REALLY spicy. Just an FYI - wont go into detail, thats a different review.

Staff treats everyone like family! Professional, helpful, never pushy, always KIND! They are very involved in the community AND most of ALL, Kids are welcomed and provided with fun kids n adults play area! (Lots of Activities provided) They put customers first and interact with those enjoying A brew or non-alcoholic beverage! There involvement has made them #1 Award for New Business in Uptown Couve! They are becoming more and more "The Place" to be! Food Carts (Thia n Mexican) plus Two Doors Down Grilled cheese just makes it an amazing place to go!

Great beers, and the food carts are nice, however the bar is usually filled with children and drinking parents. If you dont want to deal with 0 to 7 year old childern crying and storming about, get your growler and take it home. No dogs, yes to children, go figure. I guess if you are a parent looking to have drinks while your kids scream in the play area (yes they have a play area), then drive them home. Youd probably give this place 5 stars.

Nice Neighborhood brewpub. Decent selection, though their beers are like everywhere else: too hoppy. Food carts outside and you can bring other food in: Due to a quirk of Washington state liquor laws you can bring kids in, which is great for the parent who needs a beer (a.k.a. all of us). If you dont like kids, come after 8 or 9.

Wouldnt mind getting trapped here... Good beer, nice atmosphere, fun games. They dont sell food, but it can be found right outside at one of the several food carts; or if you want pizza you can have the delivered too! Can be loud on a busy night, but if you want to around a hip crowd, you will find it here.

GREAT IDEA to use our locals as pub (lic) squares. I liked Trap Door from my first visit. Never thought to review them. Todays post that updated in Google maps shows how much Vancouver is progressing. I look forward to the upcoming anti-oil-train meeting on June 15th

Used to be my number 1 brewery in Vancouver,.. recently though better breweries took the number 1 spot ..! For some reason they stopped expanding the beer selection and variety. However they did an excellent job with expanding and improving the outside patio.

Trap door is nice on the inside, good service, limited about of drinks. They dont serve food which is really why they lost a star in my book. You can order pizza from Vancouver pizza, or there is a couple food trucks outside also.

I love this location, and I am really glad there is a brewery here. The beer that I have had here is decent. However they have far too few taps, and there selection is lacking for a venue of this size and in this market.

In Vancouver, this is the brewery to beat. Great beer, owner, and staff are fantastic and the location/atmosphere is absolutely the best in town. I always have fun at the TrapDoor. Fair warning, you may get trapped!

Ive never known of a bar that allows kids in it. But kicks a pregnant lady out for using the restroom. The owner even went out side to make sure she crossed the street and yelled out no public restrooms.

Best Family friendly microbrew in Vancouver! The staff and ownership are very nice people. The beer is excellent, and the childrens and food cart areas makes this place amazing!

While I never felt Trapped by any doorways that I used, I did thoroughly enjoy a couple IPAs. Plus Burrito and Thai carts right next door, you really cant go wrong.

Good beer and nice building. Not my favorite spot to drink, but people seem to like it. Outdoor seating available. A couple food carts are very close.
