Went today for a late lunch worth my husband. He ordered the #4 appetizer, #18 plate and I got #32 or 33, the chicken pad Thai. The appetizer tasted old, it was dripping with grease, and rubbery, and the dipping sauce that came with it tasted like windex was one of the ingredients. My husbands dish was ok, maybe a little on the spicy side, which is not listed on the menu description. He wanted eel, however that item was not available and had to go with beef. My dish was awful, the noodles were not noodles I have had with my pad Thai in the past at other restaurants. I thought pad Thai was a super simple dish that cannot be messed up....i was proved wrong today! The noodles tasted like they were old and burned when they were cooking them (they lumped together in balls), the chicken tasted as if they boiled it in water and then threw the 3 bite sized pieces on top of the plate right before being served. It was a waste of money. Never coming back again....and well probably never get this sick stomach feeling to go away either.

I am a foodie. I look for restaurants as I travel around the country and all over the world (46 countries). This is one of the best, authentic and cool restaurants Ive eaten at. No exaggeration. Its my 7th visit. Even took 8 visiting family members, 2 days after Thanksgiving. They agreed that Bida Manda was as good as any NY restaurants in their hometown. Ive got to also give a shout out to the staff. Karly is the greatest!

It was understaffed when we went there, but they were very upfront about that and the subsequent wait time, and made sure we understood the situation and could leave if we chose. We chose to stay, and Im glad we did -- the food was delicious (including the appetizer-on-the-house as apology for the wait) and the owners were incredibly friendly. Well absolutely be back!

The change in ownership resulted in the menu becoming shorter and the loss of the alcohol license, but the food is still great. Its also one of the few Cambodian places I know of around here, so Id very much appreciate it if more people were to come and eat here so it doesnt go out of business. The owners are lovely people.

New owners offer great foods, bigger portion, and always with a friendly smile. Make me feel like Im eating at home. If I ever want to eat something not on the menu, my chefs cater to me. I feel so special. We love our new Cambodian restaurant..
