Im finding it kind of hard to find quality donuts in the PNW. Lots of great coffee, but hard to find a good donut to go with it. So this place was a pleasant find. Its a bit out of the way near the port/docks and--though very clean--nothing special in the decor department. However, they make really great donuts. They had several dozen varieties the Sunday morning we were there. We had an assortment and we loved them all. Friendly service and decent coffee as well.

Good people, good prices, good donuts. My favorite donuts of this region are the buttermilk bars and they have the best. Their old-fashioneds are the best Ive had too. They also have the closest thing I can find to a cream filled Long John this side of Indiana. They call it an Angel Cream here. They have a few other flavors that set them apart. The cinnamon crumb topping is one I havent seen before. Dockside is my current favorite for donuts in Tacoma.

I had a bacon maple bar and on first bite it tasted sour. Didnt think too much of it thinking maybe just a taste in my mouth. After eating I was sick for two days!! Dr said one step away from salmonella poisoning. NEVER going here again. It was early enough the donuts shouldve been fresh but not late enough in the day to blame anything else. All I had was coffee and that. Terrible!!

Raised donuts are "dee-lish"! Cake ones are tasty too, but on the small side. An assorted dozen ran me $9. Service very friendly. Has a drive-thru and is open 24 hrs..! A true donut shop, finally! It Is located in an old converted Dairy Queen which sits in an industrial/trucking area, but Ill go anywhere for a yummy, fresh donut.

Decent doughnuts. Okay service, but terribly dirty and run-down. The building looks like its abandoned, and the business is just squatting. Run out of an old closed down dairy Queen. But again, doughnuts are good, and the croissants are okay. Just plan on using the drive thru, and you wont be creeped out.

If you like coconut, try the coconut angel bar. Been a long time since a donut has melted in my mouth, without even an effort. Thought "other local" places were it. Was hesitant to try this one. Thought nobody could be better. Didnt know it could be this good! Fricken AMAZING!

Easily the best doughnuts in Tacoma. I would argue this shop is much better and more fresh than Legendary Doughnuts, and it is far cheaper as well. This really feels like one of those hidden gems youd never hear of until you try it yourself. I could not recommend more.

Amazing traditional donuts that are always fresh and waiting for you to dive in. Ive been eating these donuts almost every other week for the last 2 years and have never had a bad experience. The owners are great as well. Dont hesitate to give this place a try.

The donuts were very good, but I dropped them to only good for the price. $15 for a dozen donuts? I can get equally good donuts for a much better price on 41st and Pacific. Not sure how these guys stay open with these prices, but it wont be with our business.

I got a glazed buttermilk bar and it was TO. DIE. FOR. Just what I needed this morning. I also got a coffee. The coffee is pretty scalding which is unfortunate so Ill wait for it to cool but overall I think the place is great if your craving fresh donuts! :)

Best donut shop in Tacoma. The blueberry cake donuts at Dockside Donuts are super moist; thats my personal favorite, but all of their donuts are sure to please. Why is Dockside Donuts so great? Open 24/7, free Wi-Fi, and donuts are made fresh every morning.

The doughnuts were really good, but not enough to compensate for the bad service. It was the worst! The teenager working the counter was incredibly rude to us, while the mother just stood by and watched.

Yes, they definitely have Maple bars! I thought all of the donuts were great. I did not try the Bacon Maple Bars, but I will wait till I return to Tacoma for that exercise in gustatory wonderfulness!

Great traditional donuts. Get a dozen and you wont be disappointed. This isnt new "boutique" "artisian" "bullshit for $4 a donut". This is your old school donut place. Just go eat them.

They have the usual Donuts, glazed, playing, sugar cinnamon. They also have Savory Donuts and pastries. Those are the best in town. Theres seating inside and a Drive-Thru.
