FALSER ADVERTISING! BAIT AND SWITCH! ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. This restaurant has been offering a BOGO coupon in the Entertainment book for years. My wife and I dined here for the first time this past weekend and upon attempting to pay our bill were notified they are not accepting the Entertainment Book coupons any more. The coupon is new and does not expire until Nov 2017. We had already dined and were being billed for the entire meal even though we had a valid coupon, which was our only reason for eating at this restaurant. If they did not offer the coupon, we would not have eaten there that day. We advised the female manager that we thought they should offer the coupon because it is still valid, and she pointed at the front door which had a sing on it indicating they are not accepting the Entertainment coupons. My wife nor I saw the sign upon entering the business because we were carrying our baby and someone held the door open for us as they were exciting. The manager very rudely stated we should have seen the sign and will not accept the coupon. My wife asked if there was any way we could some to some sort of an agreeable resolution, and the manager became more rude and flippantly flipped the entire bill down on the counter in front of us. I said that is not fair and I was not going to pay for the portion offered by the coupon, and tried to pay the balance with cash, she would not accept it. I said I was not going to pay the entire bill because I have a valid coupon, and the manager said she was going to call the police on me. I allowed her to do so and again offered to pay for the portion of the bill with the coupon and she was again very rude and refused. I showed my ID and left the building, advising we were going down the street to get a milkshake. The police showed up and stated she was refusing to accept the coupon and DEMANDING the entire bill be paid. I was forced to go back and pay the entire bill, very embarrassing, to the same rude manager who offer no apologies or understanding. Offering a coupon and refusing to accept is false advertising! VERY very rude customer service.

There were lots of cars in the parking lot so we thought we were off to a good start. My first observation; there were no Latinos, either serving or as customers. We were seated and I noticed the policy statement on the back of the menu, "If we prepared it properly, we will not take it back or give a refund". That is a first. The water glasses were very small and they did not refill the water. Kathy had the Vegetarian Enchilada, I had the Carne Asada. Two pieces of my steak stuck together and I guess the cook did not notice so one side was raw. We bought the Guacamole and it had no taste and looked fake, too much bright green color. The rice was apparently stored in a chiller overnight without a cover so some of the kernels were dried out. The refried beans were OK with a generous sprinkle of cheese. Service was non-existent. We got our own box to take my steak home to cook it and finally got some ones attention for the check. "Oh, they are in the front", he said. We went to the front and waited five minutes. But the locals apparently love it; most tables were still full when we left. But am I ever tempted to open a Las Margaritas in Sumner.

man, i cannot say enough good things about this place. While the chips are a little thicker than I personally like, they may very well make them on site, so Im not complaining about them. I ordered the huevos rancheros (already had a food urge) and they were TOP NOTCH. the beans were fantastic-something special. eggs were perfect, my buddy ordered carne asada, which was also outstanding. their guacamole is worth mentioning, too. its the first time ive ever been served a michelada on ice, but it was as good as any ive ever had, and i drink them fast enough, the ice wasnt problematic. :) go here and eat. give yourself enough time, it seemed like they run lean on staff, so you may not get in and out as lightning fast as you might want. still, from walking in the door to walking out, it was barely under an hour. great food. outstanding. the only negative (and its a small one) is that the booths are a little uncomfortable. shallow, and kind of a weird angle. it would not keep me from eating there OFTEN, which is what i plan on doing now that ive discovered them. also, the service is wonderful. friendly and warm.

Food is O.K. but cheap, so good value. What I didnt like was our showing up with family at 8:40p.m. the other day and being turned away at the door because they wanted to close early as it was so slow. They actually said that they do this when they dont think that there is a reason to stay open until closing time - I mentioned that customers showing up should be a good reason! They were unapologetic and simply didnt seem to care. Ill take my business to somewhere which actually appreciates it and doesnt take patronage for granted.

The food was edible but the meat was dry and flavorless in both of our dishes. To top that off the chips were cold and stale and the salsa was lacking flavor. Our server seemed put out by nnt Ul us and only came to our table to take it order, bring the food, and bring the check. My significant other ended up sick from the food as well and I felt slightly sick as well and wed split our meals so it was more likely her enchilada. It was a very disappointing experience.

Friendly staff...will add/not include requested items such as mushrooms or no green peppers...generous portions...good flavors. ..usually not overcooked, but let them know if is...I pointed out there wasnt guacamole in my taco salad so waitress brought me some on saucer...prices are same you find at most Mexican restaurants, but perhaps larger portions...

That was the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. The Arroz Con Pollo had little flavor, no cheese ,chewy chicken and was very soupy. I never got a refill on my drink either. This used to be a good place for families to go now it will just be used as a landmark for directions. We were more satisfied being hungry than after eating there.

The food is superb and the service is equally awesome. Ive been going here for some years now and I do believe they are under new ownership in the last couple of years because the place is noticibally shiny and clean now. Try the bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños. My favorite is the molcajete, delicioso!

We were hoping to find a good Mexican place and after seeing the reviews we tried el charro. I have to say very disappointed food was mediocre and service was not good. Place needed to be cleaned and it was not very busy to cause the lack of cleanliness. Will not come back again. One and done.

This is our old regular spot till new owners took over... I have to say, theyve upped thier game since our last visit, food is just as good as previous owners now, maybe a tad fresher, ground beef seasoning is spot on. Service has always been great. Well be back more now!
