Astonishingly good food. I have the Huaraches Gigantes with pork and cactus and nearly pass out from pleasure every time. Of course, almost everything is Gigante (Gigantic), their tortas (sandwiches) resemble two plates made out of bread and filled with meats and vegetables. Im gluten-free, so Ive never tried one, but I doubt I would make it halfway through one of those! If you are not on a diet, they have Horchata (a delicious rice milk drink {not vegan}) but they also have an Horchata Cocktail. This drink, too, is Gigante, and nearly knocked my good freinds out. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime drink.

We went for dinner. We started with drinks, and I had the house margarita. I am not necessarily a margarita or tequila connoisseur, but I thought it was great. The chips and salsa was free, and a welcome snack to our late arrival. The menu did not have a burrito. Perhaps a basic option compared to all that they did offer (much of which Ive never heard of or seen offered elsewhere) but it was the exact thing my dining partner wanted. I ended up ordering a Pambazo, a "Traditional sandwich served in street markets in Mexico" and was very good, with veges and shredded chicken. Well definitely be back.

Still a quintessential experience that I bring people to all the time. The tortas are massive and amazing, cactus salad (nopales) that is so delicious and a menu that will leave you wondering what to get since it all sounds so good! Take the time to come here and try some true, authentic Mexican fare - its worlds away from your Americanized chain Mexican food. The food will fill you up and the service will leave you smiling!

Nice fish tacos. Baked fish with tasty crunchlings inside. Kind of a fun decor too but beware the mens bathroom lol. Decent service but not overly accommodating. I asked for fewer onions and was told they were easy to pick out. My take on this is that if they are easy to pick out, then the kitchen staff can do it and make the customer happy. It wasnt busy when I went.

Ive been frequenting this family-owned & operated gem for the better part of a decade now and Ive hand it to them, its some of the best in town. Large servings, great food, and genuine service are all part of the secret sauce (second only to their homemade cactus salsa). If down-to-earth, quality Mexican food is what you want, look no further than El Quetzal.

If youre tired of the same old Azteca style Mexican style food then check out El Quetzal. A great meal with nice service with parking right in front of the restaurant. It was my girlfriends sons birthday and they gave him a cool El Quetzal tee shirt. Definitely a place to return to!

Food has been consistently good for the most part. Had dinner there last night and one of the dishes was quite salty. One thing to keep in mind is that theyre only open until. 8 on weekdays (bar is open until 10). Solid 4 stars.

Truly the best Mexican food Ive had in Seattle. Coupled with great service, this is the place to go. I alternate between vegetarian and non and this place caters well to both. Try their veggie quesadilla!

2 times Ive been here and have never been let down! Chicken Enchiladas Verde was delicious. Ricos Tacos (Carne Asada and Adobadas) were delicious. Price is fair and the service was always friendly!

Id drive from Everett! This was great! I popped in on my way to the VA clinic and the enchiladas were awesome! A little heat, packed full of chicken, looking forward to another visit.

Wonderful food, and a great wait staff. Juan also has some of the best tequilas in the city. What does that mean? Awesome margaritas, and terrible life decisions. Greatness!

Delicious food with authentic, fresh flavors. Nicer than the average Mexican restaurant. Went after the lunch rush was gone and service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend!

Not bad! Lot of interesting dishes. Taste was good but nothing mind blowing. Extra chips and salsa were 2 bucks which seemed kind of nickel and dime-y.

The food at this place is wonderful. The menu selection and presentation go beyond the fare found at the more typical Mexican restaurants in the area.
