I have been going to BB for several years to obtain meals for our family and friends, always via the take-out window. I have tried very hard to be a loyal customer, and Ive recommended BB to others. But we reached a "last straw" point last Friday. And that is sad for us, because we like to support local business and work very hard to be loyal customers. First, the good. Their flame-broiled meat is excellent with a wide variety of sandwich types. Portions are generous. Everything is cooked to order. The hours are great and the staff is friendly. If you go to the drive-up window, your pooch will be offered a piece of bacon. We learned a few tricks over time to help the burgers be more to our liking: 1)for our tastes, the jumbo bun is too big given the size of the patties. So ask for a junior-size bun if you want less bread; 2) only the bottom bun is sauced with house condiment. With jumbo bun, smaller meat thats lightly sauced, its too dry for us [but maybe perfect for you]. If you like your burgers more juicy, ask for more condiments. We always tried, albeit unsuccessfully. But it may work for you. 3) When they did give us the extras we paid for, in our view it wasnt a good bang for our buck. Examples: $2.50 for 5 small, thinly sliced pieces of mushroom. $2.50 for 1 thin slice bacon. If you like more product and dont mind paying $5 for mushrooms or bacon, ask for double extras; 4) the fries are fantastic when hot and the portions are generous. But any cooled fries are surprisingly dry. So eat them when theyre hot and yummy; 5) the onion rings are amply sliced and really sweet. But we dont like greasy rings, and BBs are some of the greasiest weve had anywhere in the US. We know some folks adore their rings greasy. So BBs will be perfection for you. But if you dont, ask for extra napkins to soak up the grease; 6) you can order 1/2 and 1/2 fries and rings; if youre served have more fries than rings, ask them to add more rings; 7) there are no vegan options; 8) no veggie burgers...but since they cook grilled cheesers on the flat-top hopefully at some point theyll choose to cook veggie burgers likewise. Heres why we no longer recommend BB and are looking for a different burger joint: the sheer volume of errors over 3 years that have cost us money and time. Any parent who has picky eaters or kids with food sensory issues knows how important it is to get food orders correct.Plus adults like to get what they order and pay for. But last Friday, even after having the order corrected several times until it was right, there were 7 mistakes. This happened even after I had the order read back several times until it was correct and I shared it was important because of a picky eater and food sensitive child. Still, it went haywire again. Two examples, both kids, a combined 6 mistakes [the other mistake was an adult order]. One kid likes only mayonnaise and mushrooms on a burger. What did they get? 2 mistakes...No mayo, and no mushrooms I paid $2.50 for. {this was the second time at BB this happened to this specific child}. The food sensitive child likes only catsup. Absolutely nothing else on their burger. What did he get? 4 mistakes: no catsup, added onion, added lettuce and added mayo. He understandably wouldnt eat his burger. Over time weve brought order issues up. At least theyve always apologized. But there have been so many mistakes over three years and multiple orders that weve reached the point that we dont have confidence that well get what we ordered and paid for. Thats sad to us, because when we have received what we ordered and paid for, it was really good. Unlike us, hopefully this will be your experience over time.

For those of you who happen to have read my Sharis review, this may be part of a sequel in a way! So, this place is located, ironically, /right/ across the parking lot from the Sharis that likes to profile folks on zero basis and that had in fact called the police on me on one occasion and harassed my roomies and I on others! And, while we were homeless, the parking lot directly in front of this place served as our home as we slept in our car for a while. Fast forward a few months ahead to now, and we actually live in an amazing apartment nearby and finally have resources to support local businesses and eateries! Yay! Wed been wanting to try these guys for a while! I knew already that their food would hurt me, as heavy stuff typically does, so I opted to just have a dessert - the rootbeer float! Its supposed to only come with one scoop of ice cream - and they just give it to you in a cup and let you fill it with what ever drink youd like, to your leisure! My fiance ordered the Big Bay - an awesome burger that comes with two patties, three buns total, and a looootta flavor! (I had a few bites) My fiance devoured the entire thing and had trouble saving some bites for me! My root beer took a while and my fiance had already dug into his food before they got to giving me my ice cream, and we never even said anything about it but I think they felt kinda bad about taking a while because instead of one scoop - THEY FILLED THE WHOLE CUP OH GOSH! I was delighted of course! We also got their fried zucchini and I was in love with this greasy little side oh lord. And its been rather hard to find zucchini lately to make at home so I was extra happy for this, haha! Our room mate decided to have their triple cheese burger, and being a person of few words, they devoured the entire thing and then some of our fried zucchini as well. I think they liked it haha! Awesome place, super friendly staff, and they even had pacman and a multi-game arcade machine to occupy you for the wait! Id totally hit this place up rather than the Sharis right across the parking lot. The experience is almost incomparable to Sharis in terms of how youll be treated, and the customer service. All around a wonderful experience! Forgot to mention! - I did lose 50 cents in their arcade machine attempting to play Galaga, the machine simply ate my money! I totally didnt care though because the service was awesome. :D

So I have read the other reviews and find myself kind of stunned that anybody actually has something nice to say about this place. I really wanted to like this place. I mean a non chain fast food burger place would be awesome. Except it isnt. I tried it three times. Two drive thru and one walk in. Im truly surprised they are still in business. Dirty. I mean really dirty. Burgers are just nothing special. One time the bun was super stale the next the lettuce was brown and yellow. The fries were the best thing but still a bit soggy. Im never going back.

After living here in Shoreline for over 4 years, we accidentally saw a yelp review and decided with all those 5 star reviews to go check em out! OMG they werent lying!! The burgers are so delicious and the homemade onion rings literally just melt in your mouth popping with flavor!! Wish I would have found this wonderful place so affordable years ago! The avocado burger has FRESH avocado slices and is to die for! The crew (Hey Dominic!! ;) are such great cool friendly guys! This family business is just awesome!!
