Unprofessionalism! As a provider its important to always be professional no matter who you work for. Treat people with respect, kindness no matter what. This is a heart felt for me to write this after being a patron for over 6 years. As a server-you have the right to refuse serve if the owner gives the new employee permission for whatever reason. The patron has the right to have conversations at the place of business even if the server hears it and doesnt like it. Based on just an opinion or asking a question. This is stated in true facts from a consultant: Its inappropriate and unprofessional to treat a customer like that. Most business owners would want to hear about it, because if shes treating you like that, she might be doing it to other people. Technically, if the bill was incorrect and you brought it to her attention, that is a complaint. Its a valid complaint, and she should be thanking you instead of being a jerk about it, but the law unfortunately doesnt say that people cant be jerks. The only person here who could take action against her is her employer, though, and there isnt a law that would allow you to insist that she be reprimanded or fired. You can, of course, share your opinion with others that the bartender was rude and behaved inappropriately. You have the same right to share your opinion that she does. You also have the right to choose not to return to that bar and encourage your friends to go elsewhere.

Just had the most fantastic meal here last night! My husband and I went for a walk and spontaneously ended up eating dinner at Tarasco. We loved the neighborhood bar feel and casual, friendly vibe. What we didnt expect was the amazing food! The owner was working the bar - he was delightful, made great recommendations for what to order and even treated us to Cactus Soup, which wasnt on the menu. The soup was amazing. We also ordered Chili Rellenos, Chili Verde, and a Fish topped with Slaw. Every course was delicious - probably the best Mexican food I have had in Seattle. All of the flavors were perfectly balanced - no need for Tapatio! We will definitely be back!

I recently had a knee injury and wanted to get out of the house to watch the Warriors game.They were not only super friendly but very accommodating.Woody was our server and took great care of us! Woody and Max checked in with us frequently even when I could tell he was very busy.The overall team ensured I was comfortable and taken care of it was very nice.They even kept asking if they could get me a fresh ice pack. Thanks for making my night out enjoyable.Well definitely be back for Taco Tuesday really soon.

The Tarasco delivers exactly what it advertises.... a Neighborhood bar where you can get a cold beer, shoot some pool, see the same folk on many days. The server will remember your name and your beer after two or three visits. I read a couple of reviews of people who thought they were going to the Matador in Ballard. Sorry, this is not that kind of bar. No high heels, no stuffy attitudes, and no frat boys. I like the place... if you leave your pretensions at the door so can you.

Low key, classy dive feel. Family owned, fabulous, craft quality cocktails, great chalupas (authentic)…. 1 pool table, 2 old school, non-electronic dart boards and quality darts… this place demands your respect simply by its standards and encourages you to relax at the same time. During a weekend evening they were setting up for karaoke and had a pretty good laser show on the wall for atmosphere. The DJ was a chick with great energy but chill at the same time.

Tarasco was a pretty fun little dive. It has great greasy spoon Mexican food (especially for Seattle) and offers some epic karaoke on Friday/Saturday. Drinks are cheap, and it feels like a quirky neighborhood hangout with a cast of characters. I came for a friends party and really enjoyed the vibe. Check it out, especially the karaoke nights!
