Great small sandwich shop, nice selection and super friendly staff. These people really love food and bringing good local goods. I had the Cuban and the Kimchi slaw. The Cuban was really nice, well toasted and right ratio of pickle/mustard/meat and not too much bread. Id order it again. The kimchi slaw I had to try since I love coleslaw and make my own kimchi. This was done really nice, light on the aoili and kimchi, but nicely seasoned with the cilantro and hoisin. Washed it down with a good local IPA. They do a really nice job bringing in talented local artists like myself, I really enjoy their energy and take on food. Im looking forward to trying other sandwiches and their soups. :D

Scratch Deli is my favorite joints on Capitol Hill. Im eating the bacon and egg sandwich right now and its incredible. My other favorites are the pulled pork and the shitaki cheese steak. The guys who run this place are top quality chaps, the environment is chill and the music is nice, and I appreciate that their free wifi is consistently fast. They make a point of supporting small local companies, and have no garbage can because everything in the shop is either compostable or recyclable. These guys win. Eat here.

Delicious and done right. The pork was flavored perfectly, and every element of the sandwich worked together toward a tasty bite. Ingredients were balanced harmoniously. Confession: I dont even like mustard, but I liked this sandwich. If you can get me to like a sandwich with mustard, youre doing something right! My hubby got the banh mi, and the one bite I had was excellent. Sure wish I couldve tried all the other sandwiches, but alas, we were just passing through from CA. Well be back!

Scratch Deli place gotta be one of the best sandwich places ive ever been. Its quick and most importantly, it delivers. You can never go wrong with menage a trois with dirty sauce. Always always always go for the dutch crunch rolls. The combination of the crispiness of the crunch, the juicy&tenderness of the chicken, the sweetness of the sauce and freshness of the lettuce are just spot on.

If you love Bay City Deli but dont feel like driving all the way out to Santa Monica, you should definitely check out All About The Bread. The bread is pretty close to the same, super crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. They have a godfather sandwich which is pretty close to the godmother which is offered at Bay City Deli.Definitely check it out if youre in the West Seattle, WA !

The veggie breakfest is my all time favourite vegetarian sandwich in Seattle. Its that good. Really. The people and vibe here is amazing. The music is good and not too loud. Definitely able to have a conversation without raising my voice, which I really dont like to do. I love coming here on weekends to do reading or grab a bite to eat with friends.

I didnt expect the high quality of sandwich that I got here. The place is so unassuming. Great music, comfortable spaces that are divided very well, board games, and really nice food. Heard the counter guy calling folks by name, so there must be a loyal following (plus, people being called by name indicates great hospitality). All in all a win.

Holy-moly. Just had the Chicken Pesto sandwich and my mind is officially blown. Perfectly toasted so that the cheese and bread are crispy on the outside, great ratio of chicken to pesto to aioli. One of the best sandwiches Ive ever had. Excuse me, I gotta go pick up my brain off the floor.

Try the bratwurst sandwich! Its an awesome take on Seattle street meat and was delicious. Also, we got a very generous pour of wine, however that might not be the norm! The pic is of the Sausage Banh Mi which was good but not as good as the bratwurst sandwich.

Staff was incredible. Very friendly and polite. The price was a little higher than I expected. The sandwich was great though. A little small. But thankfully it was sunny so we found seating outside. Definitely a spot worth checking overall.

Great spot and great sandwich. I like the addition of Mamas Peppers to the cuban; Im partial to thinly sliced meat and pressed bread though. Other options looked awesome.

This gem isnt just a coffee shop. Their food is very good and their (top shelf) beer/cider is cheap. Perfect for a lunch date or afternoon of studying.

Decided to try these guys today and got the Bhan Ma with marinated shitake mushrooms. It was very tasty. Also got a great baked chocolate cookie to go.

Quaint place but my bratwurst sandwich had way too much horseradish and was not worth the price I paid.
