Was yelled at by the Manager on Duty before even being sat at a table. Went here after a 5K at Greenlake because it looked kid-friendly and I had my baby with us. Waited ~5 minutes and had the hostess walk up and away from us 3 times without acknowledging us at all. Finally, I said we were wondering how long the wait was and she said she could seat us immediately, got a few menus and walked off again as I was collapsing the stroller. My friend and I were standing there, not sure what to do, and this conversation took place: Me: Are we supposed to follow her? Friend: I don’t know. I think she might be cleaning off the table? Who knows, she sucks. (Sure, fine. Probably not the nicest thing to say out of context (you don’t know my friend or her tone—it was definitely not meant to be taken seriously), but to be fair, it was after we had been ignored and was part of a *private* conversation.) Manager, who was standing a few feet from her: Or maybe we’re just busy. (FYI, this 5K was highly publicized, so staffing should have been planned accordingly.) Me: We’re just wondering where she went since she walked off again without saying anything. Manager: Patience is a virtue. You could just wait. Me: Patience has nothing to do with this. We’re happy to wait for a table. This is about communication. All she had to do was tell us to either go with her or wait here. Mgr: Patience is a virtue. You’re being rude. Me: Are you kidding me? We haven’t done anything. (To friend.) I don’t want to eat here anymore. Mgr (At this point, he’s turned around, yelling at us as more people come in and gesturing with his hands, pointing at my friend in her face.): Good, get out! We don’t want you here anyway, you’re rude. You’re being rude. I heard what you said about my employee, so just get the hell out. Bye! (The hostess had come back by now and looked mortified, apologized as we walked out.) So, this is the example management sets for the staff and I’m sure you wouldn’t get any support if something were to go wrong during your experience. I guess I should be grateful… We left and went across the street to Shelter, where they were super kid-friendly, had delicious blackberry mimosas and biscuit bites, and we didn’t get yelled at once.

I have never been a huge fan of Greenlake Bar and Grill. It is in the same family of restaurants as the Eastlake Bar and Grill which I actually like a lot more. My main issue is greenlake is what does this place really have going for it? There I minimal parking in the area and the parking that you can find d is all paid parking. The food is ok, but I certainly wouldnt be able to point you to anything on the menu that I considered to be really good. Its also isnt cheap. A burger will run you around $14-$15 after taxes. The restaurant is clean but the design of the place makes the bar area feel cramped and there isnt a lot of natural light in the dining room. The special cocktails are far from being well made.again they are just ok which is what I would expect from a neighborhood bar. The one thing I do like about this place is that they hve happy hour twice a day which is always a good thing.

Rude behaviour to a customer is not justified... Last night four of us went there and were greeted by a very smiley hostess and were seated outside. The waitress however was a different story. She was extremely rude and was irritated that my friend asked questions about the menu. We ordered drinks and ignored the waitress. My friend wanted to know more about what kind of batter they use on the fish. The waitress response was again rude and had the audacity to ask " do you want it (fish) or not" This was enough to have us leave the place. I paid for the half drunk drinks and left the place. One of my friend in the party did ask for the manager and the manager apologized but does that fix things? There are many nice places around Greenlake where we could have gone. Bad experience! Now I wonder, should I have finished my IPA before I left?

So my girlfriend and I wander in here on Friday 6/25 night after work at about 11pm(were both in the industry, what does that say if Im posting here...). We ordered drinks and some food. the food wasnt bad but the bartender was. when our food came out he offered us no silverware, no napkins and no further service. A server that had just gotten off had his drinks flowing no problem. This guy was cursing and screaming about how the server is a dumb bi*ch in front of customers because she closed out a ticket early. Real class act. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Food is good, service is decent and prices are fair. Too bad that there is a one drink minimum (per person) to order from the happy hour menu. Fries were way overseasoned with something that tastes like the same stuff Lays uses on their BBQ chips. I actually liked that flavor combination when I was 10 but had outgrown it by the age of 12. If you cook lots of fish in your fryer you need to change the oil frequently or use a separate fryer as the fries tasted fishy.

Came here with friends for dinner and drinks on a weekday night. We sat outside to enjoy one of the first warm days of Spring. The service was excellent and the food was good. I had their version of a Hawaiian burger and would recommend that. We shared an order of fried curry cauliflower and that was excellent. The restaurant also stocks all the outdoor seats with fleece blankets which was very nice to have on a cool Spring night.

The only reason even 2 stars was given is because the food was good. The service staff is among the most rude and inattentive you can find within 100 miles. If you have kids you will be sequestered to the far reaches of the building. If you want parking, find the nearest ghetto and hope your vehicle is still there or park illegally and hope you dont get towed. One of the worst places to be, bar none.

I like the atmosphere here and the people are very friendly. I left my briefcase there after a meeting the other day and they put it in a safe place and called me promptly. I was really thankful to say the least and its those small tokens of kindness that make places stand out and show the character of the people that work there. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Good location for Greenlake walkers. Went for happy hour. There is a 1 drink HH limit. It was not very busy and we had to wait a while for our food. One of our guest did not get their meal. Not sure what the issue was but the food and the beer that delivered was good. Highly recommend the buffalo cauliflower. My first time having it and it was pretty good!

Our favorite place to go that is open late and will fully satisfy all cravings. They have a vast menu to appeal to all - from salads to juicy burgers. Great beer selection and decor. Love the row of bicycles hanging above the bar. Note that parking is not that visible. We recommend the lot adjacent to Hopworks.
