Service: 5+ Food: 5+ View: 4 My girlfriend and I ate here at 4:30. We ordered the crab dip to start and I cannot begin to do it justice. Fantastic. Amazing. If you come here, get the crab dip. 10/10. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and again, the flavor and quality of the food blew me away. It was incredibly delicious. I practically inhaled the burger, it was so good I didnt even touch my beer nor even set the burger down. I have the mushroom Swiss everywhere I go and this one topped them all. My girlfriend had the prime rib sandwich with au jus and that too was phenomenal. We had the pleasure to have Gabby as our waitress and she was very attentive and checked on us regularly. My girlfriend didnt like the first drink she ordered (only because it wasnt quite what shed thought itd be) and Gabby gladly brought her a different one at no charge. Our water was always filled and she made appropriate conversation. The wait time to get our food was as expected and the kitchen did a great job of timing our entrees after the appetizer. In all this has easily become a new favorite of ours. We will definitely be returning in the near future. If you are anywhere in the area, this is a must stop.

Our family went for dinner after 9PM on a Thursday night to celebrate the Sounders playoff victory. I called ahead to make sure they would serve minors. They said the dining room was open. When we went they only had the Happy Hour menu going. It had an okay selection and good prices but was not what we were looking for. There were 7 in our party and we sampled most of the menu. The Chop Chop Salad ($8) was one of the pricier items on the HH menu - ok, but oversalted. The Chicken Strips with Waffles ($7) were a good deal and tasty - we especially liked the waffles. Cheeseburgers with fries ($7) were deemed okay - the patties were quite thin & a bit dry. Potato Cakes, Buffalo Cauliflower, Kahlua Pork w/ Mac n Cheese and Chicken Tacos (all $5-6) were better than the main entrees. Oversalting seemed to be an issue for many of the items. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. We may venture another visit for the full menu another time. I love this location because growing up it was a Schmittys Pancake House...sigh, the good old days!

The two times that I have gone to the Eastlake Bar & Grill I have been disappointed as both the food and the service were horrible. After my initial experience I reluctantly agreed to go with colleagues again last night and found that my first impression was not wrong. The service was slow and virtually nonexistent - but definitely pricey with the 18% gratuity that is added. The food was inedible and let me with a horrible stomach ache AGAIN!! (Yes I did order something different that I did the first time - same result, an upset stomach.) My friends who ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup and the mac n cheese dishes were also definitely less than thrilled. The supposedly spicy mac n cheese was so-so. The grilled cheese sandwich was made with very little cheese and a doughy bread. In other words, not appetizing at all. No matter how inexpensive the food is it simply isnt worth feeling ill after wards. Granted the view is nice but the quality of both the food and the service completely negate it. Ick!

I called in and made reservations for a party of seven a day prior because I knew this place would be busy with the string of nice weather Seattle had been having. When I arrived, I was told that no reservation had ever been made and one hostess in particular went out of her way to accuse me of lying and saying that I never called to make the reservation. When another hostess said a table was open and we could be placed there, the aforementioned tactless hostess cut her off and said that we would just have to wait. All I wanted was a genuine apology ("Sorry, someone mustve just dropped the ball and not written your reservation down. Thats our fault. Youre free to wait at our bar until your table is ready" wouldve sufficed) and they made absolutely no effort. The food, as many of the reviewers here have said, is more or less OK and made better with a nice view. The service is sometimes exceedingly slow but because of this incident, this is the last time I will ever go to the Eastlake Bar and Grill.

Happy Hour: 3-6pm and 9pm-Close Daily Good place to grab a bite, even late in the evenings. Theres plenty of outdoor seating which is especially nice when the sun is out and offers a pleasant view of Lake Union. The waitress at the front counter can usually sit you down pretty quick, I have yet to run into an issue of a long wait because the restaurant is overcrowded. The service is pretty good, however, it can take a while for the food & drinks to show up for a large group. Food is better than your average bar food and overall pretty good! The happy hour cuts the price down a lot (not so much for the drinks but definitely the food)! I highly recommend subscribing to their email bang list. Ive receive numerous specials and discounts! If theres anything you took away from this review, this is it! Its totally worth it!

Their happy hour is pretty good. Ive gone there a lot the last 2 years and usually am pleased with the mac and cheese. However, NEVER GO THERE IN A LARGE GROUP! Ive had two horrible experiences and each were in groups over 6 people. They refuse to split checks and always add in a tip. After several drinks were in no position to be adding up costs. Also, when there is any sort of special, they run how much the bill would be at normal prices and charge 18% gratuity on top of that. So on half off night, be prepared to pay a 36% tip on how much your food actually costs. Despite my two bad experiences (the only times Ive gone in large groups), I still like the place. Its perfect for sitting in the bar for happy hour with 1-3 friends.

This is our neigborhood go-to bar. It has an awesome bartender, an extensive menu with some highlights, good beers on tap, and friendly waitstaff. Plus they have a patio that overlooks Lake Union and just has killer views. I havent found a breakfast item I really like yet but I love their cobb salad and sweet potato fries. Super laid back and comfortable place to drop into. Oh, and they have $6 burger and fries on Wednesday nights. Not the best steaks but $6!

Stopped by the Eastlake Bar & Grill the other day, as the sunny back deck overlooking the water was just calling my name. They actually have two decks out back, one large area with a smaller, more lounge type deck higher up. I was so happy to sit outside and watch the boats go by. Their happy hour started at 3:00pm, which was great! I only wish that they had a better selection of bottled (or draft) hard ciders and IPAs (for my boyfriend).

The food here is great. The view here is exceptional. I didnt get to go on the patio that day but I bet its to die for! However, the worst service Ive had in a long time. And we had a reservation. The host at the front didnt know half our party had already been sat, so about 9 of us waited for 25 minutes before we realized they were there. The waiting was horrible, and he completely messed up our checks. I would stay in the bar next time.
