Small cramped space where the two employees seemed more interested in counting the tips than actually listening to my order. Coffee was crap, over-sweetened to the point that the only part of espresso I could taste was the bitterness. I would of liked to order what looked to be a great croissant but the young girl behind the counter forgot that I ordered it and when I inquired she just told me that I didnt pay for it, no offer to sell it to me or apology for forgetting it. I will NEVER go back here

This is one of the best neighborhood coffee shops (my other favorite being All City Coffee). Its been there for years and is consistently solid. Plus, the baked good selection is nice. If youre in Ballard and need some good joe, I recommend it!

Best espresso drinks Ive had in Ballard. The staff are good humans but they wont give you the normal customer service smile. Generally nice folks, they just dont force the usual small talk.

Ive been going here 15 years. Great owners, great staff. Minimal indoor seating so go elsewhere if youre looking to hole up with a computer for a while.
