This place used to have great pancakes and decent food. I went back with my family expecting it to be pretty good since it was last time I had been there (over 2 years ago). What we got was two omelettes that tasted terrible and moldy, orange juice that looked and tasted like it came out of the bottom of a trash can... brownish orange, with putrid taste! I was horrified. I alerted the waitress, who then doubted me because "looks like you ate quite a bit" when I told her it tasted moldy. She took my omelette off the tab... but ended up paying 50$ for gross food and my empty stomach. I will never go back. I will also never get that 50$ back. What a waste. Oh well never again.

I ordered the chicken fried steak with brown gravy and it came out with sausage gravy all over it. When I asked if I could have brown gravy the waitress didnt ask the kitchen to refire the order but scraped off the gravy, flipped my hash browns over and steak over and put brown gravy on them. There was still country gravy all over my plate and everything was soggy and disgusting. When I pointed it out to the waitress she pretended to be clueless and would not remove it from our bill. I will never go back to this place. Terrible customer service and poor food management processes. Unacceptable!

This is, quite possibly, the worst diner I have ever been to! The food is disgusting and the service is deplorable. After trying to eat my over priced third of a can of corned beef hash, I finally gave up. If I only had some more weak folders Coffee to wash it down. Oh wheres that waitress? Oh! Over sitting with her friend in the corner. Great job. The tip reflects it and I hope you get taxed on it you lazy puke.

Looks okay when you first come in but looking around its a rundown place not kept very clean they were refilling the ketchup bottles didnt think that was okay salad was watered down another time I was there I got egg omelette and it wasnt cooked all the way not sure if anyone spoke English sounded to me like everybody was Hispanic and supposably American restaurant definitely wont go back

This place has the best french toast I have ever had!!! The bacon is fresh thick cut, the wait staff is friendly, they have a kids menu, they have alcohol, coffee is great, cinnamon rolls, ice cream, and pancakes are so big they almost hang off the plate! Everyone keeps asking me if Ive had the chicken fried steak, the mess, or the eggs benedict which Ive heard are all great!

Waitress was ok. People in kitchen kept coming out arguing in Spanish with no gloves or hair nets on. fit salad was just bigger version of side salad with overcooked egg and rubbery shrimp on top. Salmon sandwich had hand sized thin portion between two halves of sandwich with two inch thick bread. Not going back. Was no taste and a lot of waste.

My new favorite breakfast stop. Itzel, our server was over the top amazing and earned a great tip. The food was amazing and fresh. My kids love the pancakes and the coffer even gives Starbucks a run for its money. If I could eat here everyday I would. This should be your first stop on the way out of town. Remember to ask for Itzel!

I stop in here once a year and always get the same thing, the Country Mess. The food is excellent, exactly what youd expect from a country cafe. The staff is wonderful. Very friendly. I will continue to come back, whenever I visit my friends in Portland.

I suppose I would really say 3 and 3/4 stars and would love to bump them up to a full 4 if they had faster service. That said, the breakfast is truly amazing and I would always recommend whatever they are having as their special of the day.

This place is great! Amazing food, huge portions, great friendly staff. Forget IHOP and Dennys if you are in the mood for breakfast, this is definately the place to go! Well worth the wait on the weekend!

The food was okay... but the service was terrible. My family of 3 and my relatives of 4, so a total of 7 people got there food 1.5 hours after they had ordered. Our Waitress was a little grumpy too.

Great staff and atmosphere, the food was delivered really fast and was delicious, especially the bacon! Definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone on i5 or in the Ridgefield/Woodland area!

It used to be employee high schoolers and had decent food, but now with new owners, it took over an hour and half to get 3 plates of food. Not worth the wait, time, or money anymore.
