Great customer service not so great food. I have been there 2 times since they changed from Toreros to 5 Hermanos and I have to say I am disappointed by the change. From the beginning with the chips and salsa I can taste that the salsa has been in the fridge for a few days. At first I thought that maybe it was a one off thing but the meat was not fresh, the rice was not fresh, the veg was not fresh. The meat was especially disappointing as it was chewy and under seasoned. If you dont mind this kind of food I recommend stopping by your local grocery store an purchasing something in the frozen food section.

I came in for lunch, and ordered the 2 enchilada lunch special. It was decent small portions compared to most Mexican style eateries. The rice was the best part, perfectly seasoned and cooked to me best consistency Ive seen ever seen for this style of food. Id consider coming back for lunch to try a burrito. The atmosphere is very comfortable and casual. Very peacful feel. Could call it very chill lol. Id recommend it with the statement tge plate is small you might want more, but also as I love eating Mexican food I kinda expect my plate to be oversized.

I wanted to give them 4 stars, because the tacos, enchiladas, rice and beans were good, but the salsa and chips were not. The chips didnt taste homemade, and the salsa tasted like tomato sauce with onion pieces. The albondigas soup was virtually without flavor. The broth appeared to be plain chicken broth without any spices. Growing up in Ca must have spoiled me. Wait staff was nice.

The owner, Val, and his family, do a wonderful job making and serving quality Mexican food. Also, must not miss Vals awesome margarita....all with fresh ingredients, no mixes!! Love this place....great atmosphere and the friendliest wait staff who treat you like youre the only customer in the restaurant!

Every time I come here, whether to dine or for take out, the staff is always super nice and incredibly attentive and polite. I think the food is average. I wouldnt rave about it, but it isnt bad. There is always left overs as the portions are great for the price. I really enjoy their espresso burrito.

I love this restaurant! The staff is absolutely wonderful. The food is delicious and they have a good selection of alcoholic beverages. Everything is reasonably priced as well. The atmosphere is comfy and peaceful which is great when youre out with family. I highly recommend this place!

I stopped here on a recommendation from Yelp, it was very good and not 100% Tex Mex. Though it has been Americanized, the salsa was a creamy texture instead of chunky which I prefer. And the fajitas were very good and had a great seasoning.
