My boyfriend and I went last Sunday. It was a rainy afternoon and we love to sit out on the patio to watch the water flow down the creek. Since it was too cold they gave us a window seat inside where it was dry and warm. Our server Naomi was fantastic. She was pleasant and on top of everything; making us feel like we were the only ones in the place when indeed we were not. She brought us everything we asked for and Pedro was great too. The meal was so deliciously prepared; the best Id had since coming to Little Tampico three years ago. It was a shrimp fajita. The sauces and flavors were wonderful. The dips (they offer two) were both delicious and they had no problem giving us more when we went through the first set. My favorite part was the margarita that was blended correctly and had a perfect tartiness that I had so missed. The bartenders name is Cerissa and I would go back to the place for her margaritas alone. All in all I give this place five stars... Make sure to check it out on a Sunday afternoon...

My family used to come here years ago when we lived in Soquel. It has been 4-5 years as we moved closer to SCruz. My daughter and I came for a girls night out as we had such great memories of the food and service. It SUCKED! We were told to sit on patio (only seats avail.) but heaters would be on. Despite repeated requests to have heater lit, it never was. We had to wait for 20-30 minutes for each request (we were there for more than 1 1/2 hours for ONE drink and dinner (no appetizers or dessert). My daughter ordered a 2nd drink which she never received. We froze, waited forever and the food was only ok. WE WILL NEVER COME BACK AND DIDNT TIP THE WAITRESS AS SHE SEEMED TO NOT CARE IF WE WERE TAKEN CARE OF. We do not go out often, so this was a special night and it was ruined by horrible service. I will definitely tell my friends to never go to this place.

Customer service: Very good. Friendly and attentive! Menu: Great options plus vegan and vegetarian choices. No matter what you like, there is poetically something here for you. Bar/alcohol: Good, strong and well priced margaritas. Good selections of tequila. And basic beers. Food: Pretty good. My vegan tacos were delicious and I got black beans instead of refried so I was happy with it. My dairy eating friends had slight complaints about it being too cheesy, but still delicious. The biggest problem was that the guacamole was bland and plain. We had to poor a tone of salt and there was nothing in it. No lime, cilantro, tomatoes etc. Just avocado mashed up.... very disappointing. Would still go there, but dont get the guac!

We went to dinner at Little Tampico tonight. It was a fun relaxing dinner. The food was good as always. Our waiter was a good guy. But a busboy named Gavin was the one who caught our eye. He was absolutely ON TOP OF IT! When someone finished with a dish he swooped in to take the dish out of the way. He never interrupted anyones conversations or even noticed. He just made their table more comfortable. Including ours. When I needed an extra napkin, I looked around for our waiter. But Gavin was paying attention and was at my service immediately. He definitely made our dining experience extra special.

Place was horrible service was bad they claim that we did not leave any tips when we left and we have been going there for multiple days I would not recommend this place to anyone stay away. And yeah of course when they see a group of Mexican workers they are going to feel harass and make any excuse to tell you to leave when they got a full house but when they got nothing but flys you are more then welcome. Hi hello how can we take your money for a. (a f-up) service Im telling you people stay away from this place. FOOF IS NOT GOOD, STINK,STUFF SUCKS AND THEY TAKE FOR EVER

This is one of favorite Mexican restaurants in Santa Cruz. Its not like all the wonderful Taquerias we have which is what we like about it. Great to have pitchers of Margaritas instead of beer for a change and the style of the food is different too. The service here is always good, they keep the chips and salsa coming and you dont need to ask for more. They make a great Margarita too, and serve them in pitchers. Sitting on the outside deck on a nice summer evening rounds out your experience, and makes this a well love local hangout.

Cold, tasteless food and worse service. For the record: adding the juice of two limes and a splash of simple syrup to 5oz of tequila does not constitute a Margarita; i wanted a beverage to compliment my meal, not a mason jar of liquor, Im not an alcoholic

Another local restaurant that we frequent. Food is good and portions are adequate. New bar addition and the downstairs patio are great for the warm weather. If getting take out, call ahead and it will be kept warm till you get there.

Drinks are amazing. The molly drink does the job really well. I ordered the tamales for dinner and personally think they could add a few more flavors. Great wait staff really friendly and attentive. A good place to watch a game.
