This growing Western chain restaurant location is essentially at Emerald Downs in Auburn on A Street. Kathy had the Dungeness Crab Enchiladas and I had the Maocoba Los Cabos, a mixed seafood dish with a creamy sauce served over Spanish Rice. The food was excellent, the decor authentic and clean. The foot traffic very high, but they managed to have excellent customer service even though most tables were full. One complaint, we were seated by 5:58 and they would not honor happy hour pricing ( 3 - 6 ) for a drink, so I skipped having a Modelo Especial. On the other hand they bring a pitcher of water to your table and they keep coming with the chips and salsa as long as you keep eating them. Check before gratuity was $37.11.

We used to frequent this restaurant several times a month. This time we waited 20 minutes for someone to come to our table. 6 times we were promised salsa, wait for meal was 45 minutes. Excuse was they had a large party arrive. Waiter never came to our table but stood around looking busy. After the meal it took the waiter another 20 minutes to bring the check. Restroom was filthy. Sorry but we are not returning EVER again! Restaurant was practically empty when we left and was able to pay the bill. Poorest service I have ever had!

I posted a one star because I didnt know if I would get food poisoning. If I do then I will repost with a picture of my vomit. If not then I might post one more star. BTW, I hate mexican music.... I mean comeon... theres them damn horns in almost every song. With mexican food comes gas, I wouldnt be surprised if they were playing those horns with there butt holes after eating.

The food was amazing (get the pollo en mole poblano), huge plates, and the Electric Margaritas were generously poured. The only reason this place didnt get 5 stars was the service. I think the owner was our waiter, and he forgot to bring our drinks multiple times, and the side of guacamole we ordered never came. Would have been a perfect experience if the service had been on par.

Great service, large portions. This is one of my familys favorite place to eat on our once a week outing or special occasions. My husband loves the nachos Idaho, very yummy and a great twist on regular nachos. My favorite is Chilie Verde - mouth watering Its all good in a relaxed atmosphere. Reasonable price or average for the local Mexican Restaurant scene. Try it!

Excellent food and good lunch specials. Awesome desserts. I dont like beans as a habit, but I LOVE the pinto beans here. And the marinated chicken is mind-blowingly tender. Out of maybe a dozen times Ive eaten here, Ive had one mediocre experience. It was lunchtime on Sunday and most of the staff seemed hung over. Food was still great!

Good food, but poor communication. Before ordering, they agreed to a half portion dish for half the price, but appeared to serve a full portion anyway. When asked if it was a half portion, they said "yes", but changed their mind when it came time to pay. They demanded full price and said "No, they dont do half portions."

I was out of town with my girlfriend and we stopped here to get food and the service was great. Everyone seemed to be very happy and enjoyed their job. The food and drinks were fantastic and had an authentic taste. The tall polonesian gentleman was a great server and I would definitely return in future. Zero complaints.

Tired of the lazy bartender in the bar. Every time were there, hes there. Hes the slowest, non caring, forgetful, walks like hes part slug. Weve been there a bunch of times and our friends and we are all in agreement that we will no longer go there. Restaurant part is fine. Were done!

We never leave here dissatisfied. Great prices. Great portions. Great Service. Great taste. This is what you expect from a Mexican restaurant. We always get seating immediately and love coming here. We average about 2-3 visits a month. Endless chips and salsa before the meal, of course.

Service was extremely ridiculous, multiple waiters attempted to take our tables order. When it came time for me to place my order they simply walked away or giggled/chuckled . This is the second time this place has done this. I highly doubt I will eat here again

Great place to get some Mexican food. My favorite place to get Pescado Frito. Great atmosphere, and food. Good kids menu, and good bar. A little spendy these days, but well worth it. We always have dinner here when we are in Auburn, and the kids are hungry.

Standard fare mexican american food. I wish their mole wasnt just melted peanut butter, I might like the place more otherwise. I feel like there are better options than this place, but they arent terrible if you somehow cant get anywhere else.

Food is good, however......I have been there for work related stuff and know that place is no where near as clean as it should be for a place that serves food. Once I found that out I havent been back to eat. Wash your damn hands.

Ate lunch with wife and coworker. The meal was served quickly and was delicious. I ordered beef got chicken they replaced my meal in a few minutes and took it off my bill also. It was a great experience overall. I will go back.

Food expensive for a Mexican restaurant (over $60 for a fajita, a burrito, and 2 margs), but only average in taste and portion sizes. Lots of beverage options, but I was not impressed by the quality of my margarita.

Server cant understand difference between vegetarian and non_vegetarian food. When meat touches the vegetables its no more vegan. Bad experience with the server.
