We averaged the cost per person. My husband drinks margaritas so it pushes the cost up a tad. The kids prices are much lower. Now for the food: We L-O-V-E the salsa! The salsa is so good that we often purchase a quart to go. I like the authentic dishes while my husabnd likes the border dishes. The posole is like my grandmothers a nice blend of spice and citrus, yum! Although I think they are only making this soup on special order. My kids love the pork ball soup and the chicken quesodillas. Every once in while well order dessert which is average but still tasty. I would absolutely recommend friends and family to this restaurant. If my colleagues were closer, I suggest this place for happy hour too. During Maple Valley Days, the restaurant has dancing horses and mexican cowboy and lady shows. SO MUCH FUN!

This was my first time here and the food tasted amazing! Seasoned very well and everything came quickly. However I ordered Arroz con Pollo and there wasnt any rice on my plate and when I asked for some I was charged 4 dollars for a side of rice....as well as when I asked for another set of tortillas our waitress gave me attitude and then they charged me 1.50 for more tortillas. I have never been to a Mexican restaurant where they charge you for more tortillas, besides that everything else was on par. Would have rated 5 stars if not for the rice and all the extra charges.

This is walking distance from our house, so if we dont want to cook this is our go-to spot. The food is reliably good, the service is excellent, and they remember their regulars. We have a ton of Mexican restaurants nearby, but this one has the best food. When we had a terrible winter storm a while ago, and our power was out, we walked here for a hot meal. They had power and were open and serving.

I eat here regularly for lunch and dinner, but would go here for just the chips and salsa (the salsa is very good). My family has tried most of the menu, and they havent missed yet. The service is great (unless they are swamped). The atmosphere a bit too strip mall for me. All in all, a good value for the location.

The background Mexican music was a little loud, but the food was excellent and the server was fast & friendly. Really nice wood-carved booths with a caballero theme. The green chile burrito was good (pork was a little dried out), but Im going back to try the carne asada! Everything tasted pretty fresh. Yum.

The food is great, service is always fast and friendly. This is our go to mexican restaurant and i would highly recommend it. When its nice, the owner brings his horse out in full garb for the kids. Great family run place.

Food was good but I had a buy one get one gift card that I bought from the Tahoma Bears Soccer team and no employees could honor it. Not very professional to have a fundraiser promotion and not be able to use it.

Mexican, with good service, music is enjoyable, atmosphere great, and very good prices. My friends love to meet at Hacienda Del Mar because they accommodate even a group of 8 without any fuss.

Quesadillas looked like something from taco bell. Fajita was okay. Paid $62 for 3 people to eat. So in my opinion food really sucked for the price.
