My wife and I moved to the peninsula eight months ago. One of the things we had really missed was pho, as we couldnt find a restaurant in the area that served it. We read an online review that said that the Thai Noodle soup at Long Beach Thai Cuisine was essentially pho. We gave it a try tonight. First, sadly, the Thai Noodle soup is not pho. The broth was way too sweet, as though too much sugar had been added. Also, the noodles were not the same delicious rice noodles that you usually find in pho. That would have never been enough for us to leave a bad review, though. Before our soups even arrived, a server brought a small plate of barbecue pork to our table. We had not ordered the pork, but the serving was so small that we thought it was something that came with the soup. We each had one piece of the pork. A few minutes later, the waitress came back and said, "This is for the other table, not for you." I told her that we had already eaten off the plate. She picked the plate up and we could see that she wanted to serve the plate to the other table anyway. Eventually, good sense won out, and she took the plate back to the kitchen. We laughed about it a bit. We thought, "Once youve goofed up and served it to the wrong people, why just dump it out? Why not just leave it at the table." Still, we hadnt ordered it, so we were not upset. A few minutes later, the same server came and set the same plate down on the table and said, "Here, you can have this." The noodle soup arrived, and, as I said, it was not good. My wife ate half of hers, I did better than that. We decided we would try something else next time. Our check came, and surprise, there was a $7 charge for the barbecue pork. I assumed it was just a mistake on their part, so when I went to cashier, I asked why we were charged for something we did not order. "Because you ate it," the cashier said. "Also, when she"--pointing to the server had brought the pork-- "said that she asked you, and you said you would take it and pay for it." We had never said any such thing, and I told her so. She said she did not believe me, and she wanted me to pay the seven dollars. About then, a couple who had been sitting behind us came up and verified that we had never said we wanted it. She didnt care, and glared and glared at us. Finally, the server who had made the mistake, confessed that we had never told her we wanted it or would pay for it. The cashier muttered to herself for several long moments, then rang us up for the two soups we had ordered, which I happily paid for. So, long story short - they served us food we did not order, then took it away, brought it back, and did their level best to browbeat us into paying for it anyway. Obviously, we will be giving our business to Malai That restaurant in downtown Long Beach where the portions are better sized, the service is kind, and the food is much better.

I have been here a few times, and have consistently found it to be the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to. In fact, its one of the best restaurants Ive ever been to period, Thai or otherwise. The food is wonderful, prices fair, portions generous, and service friendly. The decor and ambiance, while simple and low tech, is comfortable and fun. Ive never regretted eating there, and have even driven from my home, which is a couple hours away, just to get my Long Beach Thai fix.

Every time my boyfriend and I go to Long Beach we stop here. This place is still amazing! The staff are really nice, and Bob, the guy who runs the place will take the time to find out what you would like and never fails at delivering the best! I dont know where these reviews are coming from that are bashing this place, because we have never been dissapointed after years of eating there. GO TRY IT! If you love Thai food you will love this place!

Came with 3 small kids... we usually worry about bugging the management. We were happily surprised. Everything in the menu was awesome. We loved the choo-chee. Curry with halibut. Pineapple curry was off the hook, and the spring rolls delicious. Kids are pretty picky but scarfed it all down. Great service!!!

Good food but terrible customer service. They got the order wrong, brought the wrong bill then ran my card twice then a then accused me of trying to scam him. Watch your bank statement closely.

Great to discover an Asian restaurant at the beach. Food is plentiful. Take-out easy for those visiting the beach, with cutlery supplied. Staff alone makes you want to return. But food is great.

I wasnt impressed with the dining area, but the food made up for what the building lacked in charm. Hands down the best Thai food I have had ever. Fast friendly service. totally worth a try.

Good environment - simple and authentic thai food. Pad thai was good - just a little greasy. The springrolls with peanut sauce were fantastic!

The food was passable, but nothing really exciting. The wait was a little longer than expected.
