This is an old church converted into a coffee joint. Clever name! I was in the area visiting a friend at her farm and stopped by to grab a bite and some tea. Battle Ground really doesnt have much to offer, but this place was surprisingly pretty awesome! My friend ordered the "ultimate" breakfast burrito which had eggs, gravy, bacon, and salsa. I had a bite. Solid. The chocolate and cherry muffin was OK-- not moist enough. I had one of the best cups of tea here. I usually always order Jasmine green tea-- Im not sure what brand they use but it was loose leaf and they steep it for you before serving. The temperature was perfect. I dont know if Ill ever be back in Battle Ground again, but Id come back.

Cute concept and really an awesome place but it is so expensive you cant help but cringe when you pay. I get a 16oz iced coffee with flavor and it comes out to nearly 6 bucks! Not to mention they just converted their "point system" over you get a point for every dollar you spend until you reach 100 points and then you get $5.00 off. That is the worst "reward" system I have ever heard of. My iced coffee cost $1.75 at Dutch Brothers and I dont have to buy 50 coffees before my loyalty is rewarded. Id just rather not spend 20 bucks on a breakfast bagel and coffee but hey some may call me cheap, others may call me wise. ;)

Old Town Battle Grounds is the perfect remedy for those weary of the homogenized chain/franchise brew and corporation-dictated "seen one, seen em all" atmosphere. Lodged in a charming Cape Cod-style house, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and the service from the overalls-clad baristas friendly. The coffee served is from one of the best (if not THE best) metro area roasters- Stumptown. And about those overalls- according to the owner, they serve "the best overall coffee in town." I couldnt agree more.

Always great coffee and customer service. The only constructive criticism- there needs to be a different system than the note cards. This system of people searching for their punch card makes it a painful line when it is busy. If youre on the go, this makes grabbing a cup of coffee a 15-20 min ordeal if there are people ahead of you. Doesnt keep me from coming here several times a week though!

This is ONE of the best places I have ever been for coffee. I bought a triple shot, 12 oz mocha with extra chocolate. I expected it to taste like the other places I have been, but NOOO! This was the BEST mocha I have had, short of making it myself. It tasted absolutely wonderful! The workers are also very friendly! I will be haunting this place again.

If you really want to enjoy a cup of Coffee in a relaxing atmosphere it would be here! I go once a week with a few girlfriends of mine and we can get a great cup or eat one of thier yummy sandwichs (reasonably priced) and chat , read the local Paper or people watch all on Leather Sofas. Truly a nice Place!

Such a genuine PNW experience. We truly specialize in hometown coffee shops, and OTBG is no exception. The atmosphere is comfortable, and youre surrounded with work from local artists. I even ordered off the menu like a jerk, and Diane (the owner) was polite and my London Fog latte was delicious!

Used to go to this old catholic church as a child. I enjoy its most recent incarnation even more! Great coffee and food and atmosphere. I wish we could clone it, and the owner Diane. But, we cant. It is and always will be one of a kind. But it does inspire! Local, warm and laid back.

The coffee was good enough, but the sandwiches were way beyond what I was expecting. It was a bit greasier than Id prefer, but the flavors were well developed and the prices were quite reasonable. Great decor and helpful staff round out a very pleasing experience.

Quite possibly the greatest coffee shop of all time. Nothing like walking in and getting a smile and the best cup of coffee on a dreary rainy day. The atmosphere is awesome and the staff is the coolest group of baristas this side of the Mississippi.

Ive been coming to Battle Grounds since they were located in the tiny book store on main street! The owner of this company is so sweet, uses local ingrediants and knows how to make coffee! Delicious breakfast sandwiches, tea, cookies you name it :)

Great little place in Battle Ground with a fun atmosphere. The place is super busy in the mornings and afternoons, so you know its good + there is easy off street parking in back and outside seating for the summer weather.

Thank goodness for this local coffee shop. They serve Stumptown coffee in this church building converted into a cozy barista hangout. Excellent breakfast sandwiches as well. And the staff, the best baristas in town.

Great coffee and delicious food. All the breakfast options are great. One of the few coffee shops in Battle Ground where you can get drinks that feel hand crafted, and also have a place to sit down and enjoy them.

Awesome neighborhood coffee shop in a church, no less! Their sandwiches are top notch, and blended drinks are extremely good. The endless board games available to play with is a huge plus too! Thanks everyone!!

Great coffee in a repurposed church. This business supports local artists by providing space for them to show their artwork. I had an iced coconut, salted carmel latte with coconut whipped cream.

I only popped in for a quick cup of coffee. Neat location, reasonably quick however the cashier seemed a bit to subdued like he could use a cup of coffee himself.
