Ive been here a few times, but have to say the most recent visit was mostly lackluster and grossly overpriced for the caliber of food being served. First, the patio seating. We stated preference to sit outside and were told there were none available, so were seated inside near the front door. We then watched as several other couples entered the restaurant and were given a seating choice of inside or outside. Good grief. As we had come for lunch, my partner ordered the roasted tomato soup with corn and beet salad. I ordered the buckwheat noodle salad. This salad was hardly warrant of its $15 price and with not enough buckwheat noodles to make it an enjoyable Asian noodle salad. Similarly, my guest did not enjoy the soup. One sip and I agreed. Very salty and with way too much corn in it. The beet salad was tasty, but again, overpriced for its mediocrity. At $40, this meal was a disappointment and one that could have easily been beat with a home cooked meal. Our server was inattentive and lukewarm, which had us feeling like unwelcome patrons. Really? This is not what I expect of a Zagat rated facility. This visit was a disappointment overall.

Café Nola is cute local joint and a perfect place for weekend brunch. Everything here is fresh, fresh, fresh! My server, Robynn, was super dedicated and ran into the kitchen to put in the daily special for me before it ran out. I literally had the last one of the day by 1pm. Score! Cafe Nola can get quite busy on the weekend, so call ahead for a reservation just in case. Inside and patio seating were available and since it was a beautiful day for us, we went for the patio seating. My take on Brunch: Brunch Special $18 (Sea Bass) -Small portion on a big plate; presentation was simple. The fish itself was buttery (4 stars). French Toast $15 - The star of the menu, a must get if you have a sweet tooth! It was also featured on the Food Network, which kept up its reputation. So delicious!!! Overall, I would love to come back here and try more of their menu. Their dishes are enticing, yet simple. I am fan! Parking: no issue; plenty of street parking in Bainbridge.

This has a great outdoor patio perfect for a sunny day. Food was quite nice, price was decent, and service was great. We ordered a grilled salmon with carrots and long beans from the unpublished kids menu, and it tasted really delicious even for adults. Just make sure to let them know not to add black pepper to the salmon when they grill it. We asked the server what was the black seasoning on the fish, and without questioning what it was, she took it back and came back with a dish more appropriate for our little one. The English clam chowder was a little watery, and the fish taco just tasted average. The crab melt was quite decent and they allowed us to substitute the steak fries side with the truffle fries (for a few dollars more, I think) and those fries were amazingly finger licking good.

We wanted to eat here, but were about 10 minutes away. Before we drove all the way out there, I called to see how long we would have to wait. The woman on the phone said that there would be no wait time. We arrive, 10 minutes later, and asked for a table. She said that we would have to wait over an hour because even though there were open tables, they were all reserved! I would have been fine with that, had she told me when I called! This wasted our time, our gas, and left us unsatisfied. Do not go without a reservation.

Used to be consistently good and a safe bet in Bainbridge, but things have changed for the worse. Last time I went, I ordered Eggplant Parmesan which came uncooked (the eggplant was not even baked) and when I sent it back after one bite, I was charged for a half order because the "manager has a policy". I wrote my number on the check and asked to speak with him but he never bothered to call me. So i will not go back again...

Cute little cafe. We asked our waiter what was good, he said everything. Should have left right then. We ordered the fish and chips. The kitchen did not salt anything, fish was flat, breading was flat the fries were flat. But the real offense was the tartar sauce. As Julia Child said, “No self respecting Tartar would put sweet relish in their sauce.” The fries were the frozen kind and soggy. Very dissapointing.

Food was sub-par, had high hopes as this place appears nice. The food is just... well its bad and expensive. They make noble attempts at fine dining but it just falls flat, poor seasoning, small portions, just weird combinations of ingredients that make no sense to a foodie. Took a chef with me and she had the same opinion. Sad really because it could be so much better with a solid kitchen, but unfortunately not good.

Ive lived here 4 years. Ive never eaten here. I walked in before close (845 on a Friday night). They went to prepare a table (only 5 people in the whole restaurant). I didnt like the table, then they said they were closed. (Meanwhile, both workers are swilling the owners drinks behind the bar) I walked over to Marche and had a great dinner! Dont go here! I live here! Dont go here! I never will!

We came here for a lunch meeting with colleagues and the service was decent, given the large size of our party; I felt the server did a decent job of taking all our orders as quickly as possible and, when it came time, bringing out the food and distributing to the proper person. The chicken club wasnt excellent, more middle of the road, while the coffee was less than wonderful.

From the minute I walked in to the minute I walked out of this place, I received the snootiest service Ive had in a long time. For one, this place is on Bainbridge Island, which hardly sets the bar for gourmet dining - secondly, service like this would never fly in New Orleans. I dont think Ill be revisiting anytime soon.

Mostly good food though my eggs were overdone on the eggs Benedict. Kind of pricy too. Service was sub part. Friendly waitress but my coffee cup was empty. At the request of the table next to us she came with a coffee refill. Then walked away without offering me a refill.

Overpriced low quality italian. Would not patronize again. My partner had the eggplant parmesan which was limp and mushy. I found the chicken Caesar to be bland with slightly rubbery chicken breast, certainly not worth the $13 they charged for it.

On a busy Sunday afternoon, we were seating within 10 minutes. The atmosphere was nice and our server was very good. The food was good, but a little over priced. Overall, a good place but seems to be there for feeding and getting tourists money.

Excellent food, atmosphere, and service. The service really made the experience for my wife and I. Small town feel with servers that were personal and actually cared for our desires rather than upcharges and a tip. Fantastic experience!!

Came here for an early dinner, so the service was prompt and accommodating - not sure how itd be during peak dinner times. The food was good, but everything seemed a few dollars overpriced. Mushroom risotto was tasty, but not worth $19.
