I have eaten at many Chinese places in my life. This one, and I dont say this lightly, is the worst Ive had. We ordered 3 things. I generally get pretty much the same thing everytime. Beef fried rice with extra beef, prawns in garlic sauce, and sweet & sour pork... There were 8 prawns and the rest was onions. They werent even decent prawns. $12 The "pork" was almost all cartelidge. They didnt even bother with fat... $11 There were 5 small pieces of beef in the rice. (Id hate to see what it wouldve been like if I hadnt ordered extra beef.). $11 The only thing good about it was the garlic sauce. If they sold that by itself, Id buy it. They have a newspaper clipping of them winning best Chinese restarant sometime in the past. Whoever the judge of that was must surely have called ahead and told them they were coming, because Ive had better Chinese food in mall food courts, and for half the price.

Ive been eating st Red Lotus for the last 20+ years. Lately the prices have gone up and the portions down. Tonight I ordered good for my wife, three kids and myself. Drove about 20 minutes each way to pick it up. When I got home I found that 2 items were missing and one of the items they up charged me for was a half empty container. When I caked the lady started by trying to tell me muy order didnt come with the missing items, I then convinced her she was wrong. After that she treated it like it was no big deal saying " ok you want it next time or you coming back". I now have spent an hour and 20 minutes driving and $105 and they didnt seem to care a bit. There was no offer of a voucher for next time, a partial refund for the inconvenience or anything. There are plenty of places I can spend my hard earned money to feed my family, sadly this will not be one of them again.

Ok, the waitress Janet is rude, obnoxious, abrupt, and she treats you like you are one of her trailer trash brats! She NEVER smiles, hell for all we know she has no teeth, she doesnt even brush her hair and is never checks back to see if everything is ok. Personally I have no clue as to how she can still be employed there, we have complained to the mgr and they did nothing! OK, on a lighter note....The food is FANTASTIC! Best place I have ever eaten and THAT is the ONLY reason we have gone back, and wouldnt you know we got her again! We even had to box our own food up and we had to ask for boxes twice. When we went the second time she yelled from 30 away from our table "HEY DID I GIVE YOU PLATES?" WOW, unbelieavble! I still cant believe she is still there! Well maybe NOW they will do something about her! Too bad it has come to this.

Please dont mistake this to be real Chinese food.... its American Chinese food gone wrong. the house chow mien was crispy egg noodles smothered in turkey gravy??? with canned baby corn, canned water chestnuts, a few pieces of fresh bok choy, frozen chopped carrots with actually a good portion of shrimp. Szechuan prawns were a sweet red sauce with the same veggies and shrimp as above. The wor wonton soup had the same veggies again but with dumplings and BBQ pork instead of shrimp. THE WONTON SOUP WAS GOOD not great. The funniest thing was the dipping sauce they offered which should have been some asian sauce, and some chili sauce (Siracha sauce), instead they gave us a bowl half filled with Ketchup, mustard and sesame seeds. HAHA what is that for??? so we left it.

I spent 30 dollars on two means + an appetizer, and the only good part about the entire experience was.. The appetizer. Which was only mediocre at best. Sweet and sour pork was straight up foul, good sauce but the meat seemed like it was 50 cents a pound. Chicken chow-mein looked like pig vomit, and only tasted slightly better than it looked. I asked the waitress simply "What vegetables are in the kung pao chicken" she responded with "Celery and Cabbage".. I get the kung pao chicken, and there is about 9-10 different vegetables in it, but no cabbage! Lots of stuff in it I could not eat, so a complete waste of 12 dollars due to a bad waitress who doesnt know her own menu. I will never go back to this place again.

The worst Chinese restaurant ever. I went there today for the first time and ever will i return. I had a platter that look good but at the bottom of the plate was full of gease. I couldnt believe it! The witness also was in a hurry and dropped a whole tea pot off our table onto me, another customer eating across from me and her own shoes. She also never apologize. They dont have plastic straws in a rapper therefore they hold your straw with there dirty hands they have been working with. By the time i was done talking to the manager my witness was already outside happy having a smoke break when i wasnt her last customer. That made me think thats why she drop the tea pot because she wa rushing to go smoke.

Our first time visiting Red Lotus, it was terrible. The service sucked. Ordered a water and a pepsi. As we tasted the pepsi, it was nasty. We told the waitress about it and she said, "I did notice that it didnt look right." So tell me, why in the world did she bring it out. We then ordered our food, People this is not Chinese Food, dont fool yourselves. As I picked up a piece of my Orange Chicken a flying bug (still alive) fell from it. We lost our appetite. They did not charge us for the food, which was the right thing to do. My Fiance and I are now eating bagged candy for dinner. Thanks RED LOTUS!!!!!! 0/5 stars.

I went here with two friends and we all ordered different dishes. I dont have very high expectations for chinese food. I like it greasey and im okay with it being americanised. But each dish was disgusting. My Chicken was gray, there was a thick gravy sort of something poured over mushy, awful chow mein. None of us ate more than a few bites. we tried but it was so disgusting. The service was slow and unwelcoming and the atmosphere could have been neat or funky if the food was good but bad food seemed to make the place just creepy. I will never go back here again and I would definitely not let anyone I know go either.

Weve been going here for YEARS! Love the food. Amazing food. My only complaint is that we really dont like the new menu. The servings are huge & we use to always share a plater & then get a side of pork. But now for the plater we like, you have to order a minimum of two. This leaves us with a huge amount of leftovers...and paying twice as much. Therefore, The Red Lotus is one place that we rarely go to anymore. Its like going to a pizza place & being told told you have to order a minimum of 2 pizzas. We dont need or want the extra food & we certainly dont want to have to pay for it.
