It took 20 minutes before our drink order was taken, at which time we also ordered our meal. It took another 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches to be served. Food was not impressive and the wait time was ridiculous. 2 other tables left because they waited over 20 minutes and still had not had a drink order taken. I do not recommend this tavern. Long wait times and mediocre food at best.

The escargot was very enjoyable. The portions were generous and the presentation was unique. The wine, (Governors White) pared well with the dish and can be purchased at the winery next door. The atmosphere was refreshing with a beautiful view of the grape vines just outside the sliding glass doors. We also enjoyed the classical music that topped off our dining experience.

If dining with two or more people, ordering the cheese board is a safe bet and changes within just about every visit. The soups of the day are also normally tasty along with just about everything on the menu. This is also one of the few places with a brussels sprouts that my wife will eat.

We bought a package deal online that included lunch and a tour. The food was well worth the price. The sandwiches were delicious and the wine complemented the food well. The quality of the wine was average, but well worth the price. The service was excellent.

Servers were nice but their service was very slow. Great ambience but the room was cold. Food was so-so but too pricey. $10+ for sandwiches at lunch. For lunch, consider going to the Subway down the road instead.

Ordered the BLT (bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, mayo, fresh bread panini style) and on the side farm to table salad. Really enjoyed my lunch here will definitely be coming back.
