To all you cry baby beaches that want to talk about Crapernics right to free speech, well this establishment and millions of other Americans are using that same right of FREE SPEECH to disagree with not what he is protesting but the way he done it. Disrespecting a jersey of a overrated, entitled, has been quarter back is not even on the same level as disrespecting the American Flag and the National Anthem. It is pathetic how so many people default to the word "racist" when ever someone has differing opinions. If Crapernic wanted to make a real difference he could have used some of those millions of dollars to start or support a cause to help the situation he is protesting. Instead he decided to disrespect the American Flag and National Anthem. It is my opinion that is not the way to make your voice heard for whatever cause you are speaking out about. Keep the jersey on the floor where it belongs Krossroads until it is worn out and washed up like Crapernics career. When the NFL finally fires this disgrace of a human being he can spend all of his time and energy for his cause.

I applaud this establishment....it is totally not about the protest, but the way in which the protest is conducted. As a vet, I respect the right to protest and every other right my friends died for in the desert. I just wish that we honor those that paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. If you wish to dispute the current situation in the US, please by all means prove your point. But I beg of you, dont disrespect those folks that gave their life for you to do so. I will visit this establishment on my way to OBX just show my support for our veterans. I have the luxury of having all my fingers and toes after returning from war, but there are thousands that cannot make that statement to include close friends of mine. And some didnt return at all. Stand up and show respect for those that have died to get this far. We are still the greatest nation on earth with the largest opportunity to succeed. If you dont think so than find another country and.compare, but dont come back after youve found out Im right.

Overt foolishness! Yes this is another racist act disguised as "just having fun. These folks at Krossroads Bar in Va. Beach have decided to tape a 49ers jersey to the floor of the front entrance of the place which just so happens to have kappernicks name to it. This place is located in pleasant valley shopping center on lynhaven parkway!!! What do you think would happen if you did that with a police officer uniform in front of your business? This man is exercising his constitutional right. But as you know there are a few folks who think they get to choose what "rights" certain people get to use. Just another example of why he has choosen to "StandUp for His Right to Kneel Down". For as long as that jersey with his name on it is used as a foot mat, we should use not "Kross" the theshold of the place. Racism is real and this is just another overt raciest act. Boycott this racist ass bar!

Dear Haters, SJWs, cops badgers, and flaming Liberals. Your bashing a person for exercising his 1st amendment right because his/her response to Kaepernicks exercising his 1st amendment right. Knock knock hypocrites! And to the posters claiming legitimacy to Colins claim of cops willing and wantonly killing unarmed blacks; dont quote Amendments if you dont know them all. The 5th Amendment calls for Due Process. Thats something all you protesters know nothing about. No and I repeat, No cops goes on duty with the intent to kill anyone. Listen to police directions (right or wrong) and everyone goes home. You people disgust me! Trying to ruin this persons livelihood just because he dislikes a supposed role model for disrespecting the US. Tell me what country yall want to go to and Ill buy the one way ticket.

I have not visited this establishment. Yet! The Colin Kaepernick jersey taped to the entrance floor is brilliant marketing and an expression of free speech. In the same category as CK himself taking a knee during our national anthem. To claim that this is a racist action is obviously devoid of any honest thought and seems simply to be seeking another excuse to race bait. There are definitely racial inequalities going on in our society, and I am not naive to believe racism does not exist. But this jersey on the floor is a free speech expression protected by the First Amendment and in my opinion has nothing to do with race. It is a counter-protest to this young mans disrespect of our country, our flag, our national anthem, and our military. I will be visiting Krossroads very soon!

Full Disclosure - Ive never been and I wont lie about having been (unlike the spoiled children leaving the bad ratings) but we are taking vackay next August in VA Beach and I WILL GO THEN! How is a jersey taped to the floor a sign of racism? If its the right of someone that plays ball for a living to publicly disrespect our flag and customs how is it not the equal right of this business owner to make a statement of this sort in his own establishment? Dont like it? Dont go there - its really that simple. I dont like what Kaepernick is doing (or the NFLs choice in not correcting the bad behavior) I found he & them offensive and disrespectful and I have chosen to NOT watch any NFL this year - thats my right and its not racist either.

I just called into the restaurant and said the following "Id like to wipe a lot more than my feet on that jersey." Now since Ive never been there, my "5 star review" has nothing to do with the food.....but Im sure most of these "1 star reviews" have nothing to do with the food either. Online reviews are often used as a revenge or even extortion tool for unhappy or even rude customers to get their way. The "outrage" towards this bar is a case in point. Kaepernick has every right to be a jackass in America but everyone else has every right to show disapproval of it. Anyone that wants this bar hurt because they dared exercise their First Amendment rights needs to immigrate to a country where the First Amendment isnt recognized.

I see a lot of the 1 star comments have to do with roaches. Its obvious you have solved any issues by taping the jersey to the floor because all of the roaches are on here saying theyll never step inside again! Good on you! I fully support you in your freedom of expression I fight for. Its amazing so many ignorant people want to allow Kaepernicks freedoms while they attempt to trample yours. I would suggest, if you have an upcoming issue with incoming money, that you start a go fund me. You are supported across this nation! You should make it permanent by the way. Paint it on.

I am not sure why but this place allows smoking within the establishment. We walked in and we could smell cigarette smoke so strong that I didnt want to eat there. Concerned for my lungs and smelling like cigarette smoke. As we walked in the hostess had told us to sit wherever we wanted to. She turned around to get the menus and that when we noticed people smoking up at the bar. There was ashtrays on every table, At that point we did an about face and left. I apologies to the hostess...I just could stomach the smell. I am sure they have some good food...butt.
