From the outside, it doesnt look super impressive. In fact, if you werent specifically looking for Social Burger, you probably wouldnt even notice it. However this tiny burger joint, in the middle of the town of Vienna, brings a local and family feel thats synonymous with the other charming restaurants and shops of Maple Avenue. A family-owned business, Social Burger puts the gourmet in burger. They care about the ingredients that go into the burger. Their menu isnt long, but its got some toppings that you dont see other burger joints. I ordered a Matthew (aka the cheeseburger) with lettuce, tomato, sliced onions, house-made pickled jalapenos, and red Thai curry mayo. I loved the heat of the red Thai curry mayo. Id come back to try their Megan (vegetarian black bean and brown rice) and Vienna turkey burgers. Burgers range from $5.85 to $7.85, a little bit on the pricier side. You can also add some not so free toppings like fried egg, bacon, bacon jam, and sautéed mushrooms. These not so free toppings range from 75 cents to a dollar. They even have a burger bowl for those who dont want the calories from the buns. Theres also a few options for salads, hand cut fries, and milkshakes. Service was friendly and fast. There are a couple of seats but no more than 20. Open 11-9 daily.

WOW. Its hard to find a good veggie burger at a "fast food" type restaurant (or at any restaurant for that matter) but Social Burger has the BEST veggie burger Ive ever had... no joke. I dont know if they are made in-house but they are definitely homemade somewhere. Plus the buns they use are made in-house and soooooo yummy! My meat eating friends love the other burgers they have on the menu. The only thing I would change is to have some mayo packets to go (i love mayo) and to add sweet potato fries to the menu (they sweet potato tots however, I have never tried them). But their fries are just as good. Oh also I wish they did not butter the buns before they toasted them, it makes them super greasy so I would suggest to ask them not to butter your bread... ;) And be sure to grab one of their homemade pop tarts! Holy crap I love this place... p.s- OMG THEIR PICKLES ARE MADE IN HOUSE TOO AND THEY ARE TO DIE FOR!!!

Have eaten here twice in the last week - its by far the best burger place in NoVa. My family & I ate in during our first visit here; the place sources their burger meat from a local farm and offers special in-house sauces as condiments:chimichuri, red Thai curry mayo, cherry Cola BBQ, etc. Their fries are hand-cut potatoes or sweet potatoes, and their beverages (cola, lemonade, root beer, etc.) are unique and all made from sugarcane. They also supply beer, sourced from a local brewery. Check this place out, you wont be disappointed and to eat in if you can. Service is also good, too!

We visited about 6 weeks ago and I literally didnt want my Nick-ster to end. It was so juicy and flavorful and the toppings were amazing. They also had some special sauces (bottled). I tried one that was kinda sweet with some kick and Ive been trying to find it ever since. I was told it was a Va. company. The entire experience was one of sweet sorrow because every bite drew me nearer to the end and I didnt want it to. Ive been around the world and tried a lot of burgers...this place may have the Holy Grail. (At least in my opinion) Great job...well be back, I promise you that!

Amazing! The bread melts in your mouth! The meat is sourced from local farms, they hand-cut their fries (tip: a $3 serving is a lot, you could share this between two people) and they have an awesome home made Thai curry sauce for dipping. Its a bit on the pricey side when you consider that you pay for each thing individually. My son and I each had a burger, a basket of fries, and a milkshake (these were amazing too, real old style, thick milkshakes made in metal cannisters with real ingredients) and it cost me about $33. However, totally worth it!!!!

Unfortunately, there seems to be a tremendous lack of quality control. My burger was dry and bland, and the tomato on it was too big for a salad, let alone to stack on top of a burger. My wifes was apparently decent. She described the sweet potato fries as the worst shes ever had, and the regular fries were only half cooked. The worst part, however, was when the kid behind the counter stood and watched as other customers shifted a table so the 95 year old woman who entered would have a place to sit.

Nice friendly service. Husband and I had a burgers, fries, and Puck sodas. Delicious! The buns were light, the burger tasty, and the fries were perfect. The homemade pickles were also good. I am not a soda drinker but when I heard that Puck is a small business in Vermont I decided to try. My husband had the vanilla creme and I had the cola. Perfect. Will definitely be back.

We ordered online, the website says it will take 15 minutes, and we were there in exactly 15 minutes, but the sweet potato fries were soggy and cold. The burgers were ok. The chimichurri sauce was very tasty, but it was just a dollop on one side. The bottom buns were completely soaked through with grease.

It stands up to its name. The atmosphere is small and friendly while feeling like home. The burgers and fries were extremely high quality. Honestly,the best burgers you can get around town is served here. The drinks are great too.

The burgers are okay. I was expecting alot more for the price since its pretty expensive. The ranch was really watery and tasteless. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. The food is good but nothing special.

Fresh and tasty. Our burgers were brought to our table hot with crispy veggies and delicious melted cheese. Clean, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. With salads and beers, theres something for the entire family.

Amazing burger! Bread was fresh from a baker in DC! Tried the bacon jam on top - out of this world! Loved it. My husband had the special, a shrimp burger, and raved. Will definitely be dropping in more often!

Great burger, have to get the homemade pickles on it, makes the whole thing. Bun is delicious but not greasy, and the portions left me feeling full but not bad about myself :) definitely recommend a try
