Incredible service. 5 stars. Food quality. 3 stars Value. 1 star Service was perfect. Friendly, smiling and professional. The food quality was not what i had hoped. I ordered a cheesesteak and fries. The fries were amazing. The cheesesteak was just off somehow. Maybe the wrong type of steak, maybe wrong cheese ( they use provolone instead of white american?), maybe wrong roll (they use what feels and lookes like a long baguette), maybe it is the proportion to the portion (very skimpy on the steak while being over generous with the onions). The price for my 12 inch cheesesteak, 8 inch italian sausage, large fries and large drink was $27.93. By comparison, Jersey Mikes has slightly lower prices and much bigger portions, as well as having a spot on cheesesteak like I remember from my days in south Jersey. If given a choice I will find a Jersey Mikes, no matter how far I have to drive. Penn Station will work in a pinch, but i give it a 3. Jersey Mikes gets a 9. Genos and Pats in Philly get a 10 each (because who can REALLY pick one over the other?).

This is the first time Ive been to your restaurant. Believe me when I say this, "Its the last time Ill ever spend my money with you." Im sure you get feedback on your site good and bad but I want whoever reads this to know your product was the worst I believe Ive ever had. Dont get me wrong, the service was exceptional. Your food, not at all what I expected for the price I paid. I wasted $25 today. I have never in my life had Italian Sausage that had the texture and taste of beef jerky. I also purchased a Club for my parents and I can honestly say this was the worst food I have EVER been served. If this is your best, I cant believe youll be in business long. It was honestly the WORST TASTING food I have ever had. I wish you the best of luck but I will NEVER waste another penny at your establishment. Richard Spain, JR

I arrived 15 minutes before closing and was told by an employee they were closed because the grill was broken. When I questioned that, he said it wasnt broken but they shut it off for the night. I told him I would be contacting a manager about them closing significantly early, and then he told me he was the manager. I then said I would contact the owner, and asked him his name; he told me the owner said to early if business was slow, and did not tell me his name. When I again asked him his name, he went back inside the restaurant and locked the door. I do not plan to ever visit this Penn Station location again; there are too many other places to eat in the area where I have had a good food experience.

Its right next to valley view mall and provides an excellent alternative to the usual surrounding dining options. The customer service is beyond friendly as they use your name at the beginning and end of your "at home" experience. Theres always a smile and thats consistent. The subs come in 5,6,8,10,& 12 inches providing you with options that satisfy everyones hunger level. They also have fresh ingredients, a build your own sub, and fries cut from real large Idaho potatoes you can watch. Its fast, its friendly, and reasonable in price.

Excellent service, friendly staff, and no long lines. Subs are made to order. Same with their incredible fresh cut fries!!! The price is definitely worth it for the high quality food you get to enjoy in a very clean environment and for the wonderful staff you encounter. I recommend this place to everyone. The only small downside for me is that we only have one in Roanoke and its on the other side of town, but hey its worth the drive! Maybe yall will build another one close to me!

I ate at Penn Station for the first time last week. The employees were very friendly and explained the menu and subs. Unlike some of the other sub shops the subs there are fresh and grilled to order. I ordered the monthly special which came with the fries and drink. I thought the prices were in line with having my sub freshly grilled and hot. I also got the fresh squeezed lemonade which was very good. I will back!

My family loves going to Penn Station! Friendly staff, clean restaurant and great food. The Italian is my favorite and you have to try the fresh squeezed lemonade! And for desert the fresh baked cookies are the bomb!! If you havent tried this restaurant.... you need to. Your welcome!!!!

The food was really good and the service was great too. HOWEVER, the cost is just way too high for a lunch sub. I eat there only every now and then due to the high cost. If it was more in line with everybody else, I would eat there more often.

SUB WAS GOOD BUT WAY TO EXPENSIVE. I MEAN 11 DOLLARS FOR A SUB. GOOD BUT NOT WORTH 11 DOLLARS. IF THEY EVER COME DOWN ON PRICES ILL GO BACK BUT NOT WITH THE PRICES THEY HAVE NOW. ILL STICK WITH FIREHOUSE.

I love Penn Station. The Philly Cheesesteak is great. Its like steak n shake, everything is made to order so it takes a few minutes. But its fresh and delicious.

This sandwich shop offers first class toasted sandwiches and fries! Their cookies and brownies are big and tasty. Fresh lemonade.

Try their toasted Italian or their Chicken Philly. I just love this place. They have good lemonade and chocolate chip cookies, too

Their grilled veggie sub with banana peppers, olive oil and red wine vinegar was delicious. It hit the spot on a rainy night!

Prices are a little steep, but I am in love with their fries. Their subs are pretty good as well, but again, a bit pricey.

Typical chain sub shop. Fries are always fresh and the subs are good. I do feel its a little pricey for what you get.

FR

Dont order to-go sandwiches. We ordered the BLT and they literally put a piece of bacon on a bun and wrapped it up.

The food is fresh and great. Slightly higher than subway, but better tasting.
