Three of us went for lunch today and unlucky for me, I ordered their shrimp salad platter. My companions ordered the delight and the Chicken salad platter and they loved their food. I on the other hand got shrimp salad that was bad... I put one shrimp in my mouth and I should have spit it out but swallowed it instead. It was first of all, over cooked and tasted like it was old...very fishy. My friend tasted the not the shrimp but just the sauce and spit his little taste in his napkin. I asked for the manager and he never came. The waitress came by and I explained that the salad was bad and she apologized and took it back. She didnt ask if I wanted anything else at the time but came back about 10 min later to ask if I wanted anything else. I ordered chicken salad platter and it took so long to get it that I cancelled the order....my friends had finished their lunch already. She explained that the kitchen was busy. Dont you think that if the food they made was bad that the priority would be to get the replacement dish out first before other new orders? When I got back to the office, I had an upset stomach and dierrea from that one bite. I will never order sea food from Parkway again. Once a long time ago, I ordered fish and chips and that fish smelled so bad I couldnt eat it then either.

Maryland Crabcake Dinner $15 (5/5 NOMs) Unleash the crab in you. Stopping by for another amazing dinner at one of our favorite Silver Spring places. Two super giant crab cakes, prepared to perfection. So soft and flavorful, they were prepared just right, not too dry and not too soft. Tasted so fresh as if just out of the bay. It was pure joy eating them and just had to eat slowly to savor every single bite. Great with a side of that amazing tartar sauce. Great dinner is not over yet, also comes with a side of some of the best fries in town. no need for any dipping sauce to enjoy them, but hey tartar sauce is always makes everything even better. You also get a choice of an additional side and we just had to order some Latkes, read in our next review. Perfect dinner noming for any Maryland crab fan, make sure to order up. Latkes (5/5 NOMs) About to dive into some of the best jewish nomnoms in Silver Spring, DC suburb foodie neighborhood. Something about combining the sweet apple pure with these potatoes pancakes make for one of our most favorite order here. Makes for a perfect dish to as a side or to share with a friend. Must order for sure!!

Another 4 star review for the place that already has so many 4/5 star reviews. We stopped by the other day for weekend brunch and it was an experience! First thing to note is get in line - literally the line snakes around the front part of the restaurant that serves as a store for takeout orders and and also stocks sodas, chips, and other snack items. The wait was about 25 minutes for us to get to the front of the line. Since we there was 4 of us, we were sent to another line in the back of the restaurant but this time the wait was under 10 minutes. The tables here are small and good for 4 people so larger parties may have to sit on different tables. Tho they do have a few larger tables. Service is quick and efficient - given that they want quick turnaround, but at no point we felt it was pushy to get us out quick! They have a wide selection to choose from and we ordered the Chorizo sausage and egg wrap; and Nova omelette. Both dishes were very good and not overly cheesy etc. They do have a pickle bar that goes well with any dish. Parking is a bit cramped, but we will definitely be back soon to try other items on the menu!

This place is always packed on the weekends! Beware of their line situation this place has going on. They have two entrances and people often get confused on where to stand in line. One female manager there cannot handle the line situation so please be patient, great food does come to those who wait. The male manager has a better hold on order to maintain the crazy flow of people. Their sweet mashed potatoes are sensational! Their fries are hot and seem to fresh cut and fried! Ive consistantly ordered their corned beef sandwich, comes with some serious stacks of corned beef though, I have yet to finish it in one sitting. Their salad bar is the best, their sliced pickle and this mixture of shredded carrots/raisens/grapes/mayo(?) are phenomenal. The service has consistantly been great, I go there at least 4x a month with a guest. Their food is a bit more than a normal deli, but it is fabulous and is beyond delicious. I would definitely recommend this deli restaurant!

Wasnt expecting a line for a deli type restaurant, which was exactly clear where it started and ended and the people in line were totally rude (Im from NJ and I can handle rude, but the looks we got when we were figuring out what was going on where deadly...) Anyways, we got seated quickly and placed our order. The tables are really close together, so be prepared to bump into someone or overhear their conversations. The food was average, at best. You do get a lot, but my girlfriend ordered one of the Jewish foods (I cant remember what, sorry) and she said it was simply store bought, as she had made the exact same thing at home. This was sad, as this is supposed to be one of the top Jewish delis in the country. Other things to note: the meal was inexpensive, parking was limited (even with a big lot), and the bagels were very dense (though not bad). Im on the fence if I would eat there again.

I was standing at the counter ordering my food and had my hands, palm down, on the counter when a roach of substantial size was running around on the counter. After I noticed the little guy almost running on my hand, the lady taking my order took her hand and swiped him into the floor of the kitchen and resumed taking my order. I was shocked that she looked at me as if nothing had happened and took in stride that a large cockroach was on the counter of her restaurant...maybe they are used to it. I canceled my order and left immediately. I am sure that this is not the only restaurant with these terribly nasty creatures but at least they could keep them out of site. This leads me to believe they have a nice sized problem.

I have been coming here since I was little. My parents used to set me on the table. While this Deli isnt as Jewish as it used to be, has gone through decor changes; it still has good food. The potato pancakes are small, but still just as filling. The staff are patient and willing to let you know when they cant fill your order as you like (ex. being out of everything bagels). They have a pickle bar that is free for dine in guests, and goes by the pound for take out. Their food quality is decent, their menu varies on specials, and they have delicious chocolate cake. I personally have never used their deli section, but if it is as good as the dine-in, then it could be worth while.
