Healthy sized portions of healthy food! First time I have visited this place after hearing great things about it. Was concerned it only served "fru-fru" food and my husband wouldnt find anything on the menu he liked. We had family brunch on a Sunday. Place was packed, but if you use the call ahead app you are seated pretty quickly. First Watch had hearty biscuits and gravy, salmon omelets with side salad, and lemon creme crepes. Everything was delicious! Service was a little slow, but again the place was packed so it was expected. Husband loved the Chipotle chorizo omelet with side of potatoes and fresh strawberry preserves on wheat toast. I enjoyed the strawberry smash beverage with my meal. Alll 5 of us left happy, and extremely satisfied. Will definitely visit again and would recommend to others.

Ive been here a couple times and sometimes its great, sometimes it is not. Today one of the waitresses was really crabby, rolling her eyes when I asked her for one simple thing. She did the same thing to a table next to me. Another waitress was complaining about the management really loudly. I found a hair in my leftovers, and the presentation of the tacos was terrible (just flopped on the plate, and the taste itself was nothing write home about). The juice was delicious, maybe hard to mess that up? Please fix the food presentation an attitude of some of your waitstaff so we actually want to come here again! The previous times have definitely been better, though I did find some rotten pieces of lettuce in my salad at a previous visit.

When you walk in, there is an unmistakable hipster/contemporary culture attached to it. From the multiple items on the menu with kale in it to the wheat germ, youre going to find some ingredients you may only see in farmers markets or at a Whole Foods. They have some great food. I recommend their lemon ricotta pancakes, those babies were delicious. I also recommend the turkey sausage biscuits and gravy. The first time I ordered it, it was bland and not worth my time, the second time it blew my mind. This place gets very busy on the weekends, also has a table for community seating. This is a great trendy brunch place to go to if you want fresh savory food, but beware of the prices. Toto, these arent diner prices.

The food and the fast paced atmosphere make this place a must for a fast breakfast/brunch. During the weekend there can be a wait but it usually goes quick and it is well worth it. Their menu contains many healthy options and they always seem to have unique food and beverage specials of the day. The coffee is always hot and after they pour your initial cup they leave the pot on the table so you dont have to wait for refills. They do likewise with the water. For those of you that use calorie tracking apps, Ive found several of their offerings already listed.

First and only time there so far. We hit a rare time slot when it was not packed. The food is American but with some twists--they strive for healthy and fresh ingredients off the farm. I ordered a chili chorizo omelet, very good. I would have ordered the shrimp-andouille with grits, but am very allergic to shrimp. I found out as we were ready to leave that they could have prepared it without the shrimp. Ill have to try next time. Wait staff is fast, friendly, and helpful to a newbie in their establishment.

Delicious and busy! Went here for an early lunch for the first time and it was packed. We only had to wait about 5 minutes to get a table and the waitstaff was friendly and speedy. It was awesome to see how cohesive all the staff were, definitely a team effort! I grabbed a half a Cobb salad and a Monterey Club. Even though they were so busy, we got our food quickly upon ordering. The salad was fresh and crisp, the sandwich was light; the whole meal was filling. We will definitely be back.

The ABSOLUTE BEST and healthy breakfast options in town! Everything from yogurt & granola bowls with fresh fruit to whole grain pancakes and delicious French toast. Not just ordinary French Toast, mind you: Custard-dipped, thick-cut brioche bread topped with whipped butter and powdered cinnamon sugar! Nice, comfortable atmosphere with a friendly staff. Be warned, however: can be a bit PRICY... Worth it if you can afford the luxury, though.

Our first breakfast there was outstanding, great coffee and perfect service. Our our 2nd and 3rd visit the food was a disappointment. Ordered eggs over easy, the eggs and bacon were both burnt. The eggs benedict was equally bad. Maybe this was due to the place being so packed, our food really suffered. Service was still great and the waitress took good care of us, just lousy food. We are looking for a better place for breakfast now

Amazing food and fantastic service. It gets really busy though so if you want a quite place this is not it. It gets very crowded and peoples voices echo so you can barely hear the person next to you. They use an app to "get in line" but its horrible. Youre told its about 15-20 mins before its your turn.. then suddenly it jumps to 2 mins and youre supposed to be there already. Its not a very good system.

“Cozy, with great food and an excellent bar.” This is a great little neighborhood bistro with an excellent menu and a great bar. The staff is friendly and efficient and the kitchen is top notch. We are vegetarians, and they are always happy to make adjustments to dishes for us. This is truly one of our favorites. Kip at the bar is one of the best I have...

Best brunch restaurant in Newport News! Food is great, service is fast and responsive. Due to being such a great restaurant, there is always a long wait. I recommend taking advantage of using their (No Wait) app to get your name on the list ahead of time. The app is accurate and shows how many parties are in front of you. I would recommend to anyone.

Have been here a few times with friends, so have sampled many of the wonderful choices(difficult to choose). One raves about the meatloaf, while another loves the duck. Every single offering is excellent at this small, fine restaurant. Service is excellent. Wines are excellent. The whole dining experience... Well, excellent.

My wife and I visit frequently. Today I came with just my two kids on Easter - signed in on their no wait app and arrived when the app said. Was seated within five minutes. Despite being hectic, good was great like always, place was clean and service staff was amazing. This is a real great group of workers top to bottom

Awesome place to go for breakfast lunch or both! Upscale breakfast ingredients, competitive lunch type fare, and terrific service definitely make this a must stop for hunger! Will definitely return when in the area. My server Haley was also a large part of my great experience so I hope the owner knows how great she is!

Great Food, cool atmosphere. The building is open industrial style inside so it can get a bit noisy (echos) when its busy but there is also outside seating if its too loud. The food is great & healthy, youll leave here feeling energized instead of tired/bloated. Highly recommend their Eggs Benedict .

The food we had was pretty good, I got a Chicken Sandwich, my dad got Sausage Onion and Pepper Calzone, my sister got a slice of Buffalo Chicken Pizza AND a slice of Cheese Pizza, and my mom got a slice of Veggie Pizza, we also split an order of Garlic Knots. Our food was pretty cheap and delicious
