I NEVER write reviews but my experience was so horrible that i had to write one. Save your time and money and just go to another ihop. First off the waitress was horrible (never told us her name but she was a 20 something brown skin girl with a natural blondish orange tapered haircut) she rushed and took our order so fast that she didnt even ask how i wanted my eggs so i had to get another waiter to go tell her. my bf didnt like his drink (which tasted nasty) and wanted to change to another and she acted like it was impossible for a person not to like it but she bought another one that was even worse. after that she never came back to the table so we could switch the drink yet again. i never even received a refill for my drink. the food came out ALL wrong my banana pudding pancakes and lemonade icing on it instead of pudding, i asked for well done sausages and they were BARELY cooked, i asked for a real shell egg and got egg substitute, my bf burger was dry and had loads of cheese on it after he specifically asked for no cheese. i had to get the manger to take the food back and she argued with him saying that the eggs were fine. when we received the bill she tried to charge me $17 for a $8 meal and when i brought it to her attention she acted like it was right and when i asked for her to take my bf drink off because he didnt drink it because it was nasty she said no because he drank out of it, mind you the glass was still full he only took a sip to taste it that was all. in the end the manger fixed the bill and we will NEVER be back to that ihop EVER!!

Would be nice if the person at the counter who is responsible for answering the phones and taking to go orders actually do her job lol. (Normally a female, same female really each time I go). She likes to act friendly but she is not very productive lol...She likes to leave the phone off the hook so when you call you get a busy signal. I dialed one time in the restaurant, nobody was on the phone and I could see the phone lol...however I got a busy signal lol..Phone did not ring despite no one was on it. And it wasnt even busy! lol...I feel sorry for the franchise owner because he is losing out on money big time...I mean to go orders can mean a lot more orders/money coming in. The day I called while I was in the restaurant after placing my order just to see if I would hear the phone ring...I was astonished. I mean it was slow in there...No reason to have the phone off the hook..However, the IHOP in Nottingham, even during peak hours, busy times, I have never had an issue with them not answering the phone/refusing to take my order over the phone. At one point, there was a girl saying you had to come in to place your order lol after answering the phone! Defeats the purpose of offering to go orders...where you want to place ahead of time and by the time you get there it is done and you can go...hence IHOP N Go.

The staff is very rude and uncourteous, I went with my husband, mom and twin toddlers. The restaurant was empty and upon entering no one was at the front we waited about 5 minutes before someone finally came she looked as if she was just coming from the bathroom she looked sloppy, she was trying to find crayons for the babies so I told her we dont need any I guess she didnt like that she just walked off and when she got us to our table she just dropped the menus and walked away without saying a word or waited for us to be seated. Our waitress was just as bad brought my moms hot chocolate in a very dirty cup and gave attitude when we asked for the cup to be changed the food took forever and it was cold and horrible. The waitress told us we should pay her and she waited at the table for the money right after bringing the check she didnt even give us a minute. A couple waitresses were just sitting around speaking very loudly right next to where people was trying to eat. This place needs a employee makeover. They need to hire courteous trained waitresses. I will never go back here.

I visit this place as the new offer that kids eat free from 4p-10p had started today 4-1-2011. After ordering the food and waiting around for 15 mins after eating and waiting for the check. I saw that son weal was on it I advised 2 wait staff and the on site manager of the national progeram that kids under 12 eat free 4p-10p all locations of IHOP and it was listed at that location too. I show the wait staff members and the manager on my phone the current website info that showed that that location was included, they keep saying that they didnt know anything about the offer but still showed them what there own website said about the offer. They responed to saything that the Dundalk location honor this program some times but hey dont. I was very upset after showing them the info and the national website the same info. They would not give me the discount and said general manger was the today and had not advised them of this program offer and they would not honor it also, ADVOID THIS SITE AS THEY DO NOT HONOR SPECIAL OFFERS!

Service was horrible. My waitress was incredibly rude. Her name was kiarra. She was completely inattentive and seemed annoyed everytime we asked her for something. The manager i believe a light skinned woman reeked of marijuana when she checked on our table. The food was horrible. There were gnats everywhere. The food by the way incredibly bad. Pancakes burnt at the bottom asked for shell eggs got substitute. My silverware was dirty. The restrooms were deplorable. I hate this restaurant. It needs to be closed. U can hear the waitresses cursing from inside the kitchen. They are all ghetto and unprofessional. You can see them standing around talking and lots of food sitting in the window getting cold at the same time. My table was dirty when i sat down. It was just so much wrong with this visit. And then when i left outside they staff is gathered around smoking and cursing like this wasnt a family restaurant. How r these people still in business

First, I waited more than five minutes to be noticed when I walked in. Then, I was seated at a table that had not been wiped down from the last customer. After waiting ten minutes someone came and wiped the table. My waitress was nice and polite. I ordered and received my hot tea right away. The food was not good. The bacon was chewy as if it was cooked and then reheated in the microwave. The hash browns were chewy on the outside and raw on the inside. I ordered eggs over hard and received scrambled with cheese. The pancakes actually were good. It is a pancake house. The music on the intercom was way to too loud. The other staff were rude and loud. The dining room was not clean. The tray for the syrup on the table was sticky as if it had never been cleaned. I did not bother to use the restroom. I expected that to be filthy just like the rest of the restaurant. I will not be coming back to this location.
