Not a bad BBQ joint. Its definitely the best Manassas has to offer but its no Dixie Bones or Rocklands. The collard greens were fantastic, the ranch beans were banging but the mac and cheese was extremely bland. The major problem is the serving size for sides. Far too small. As for the meat I only tried the brisket and quartered chicken. The brisket was very tender and delicious but the chicken was a bit dry (albeit still tasty). They have several different BBQ sauces for you to use, two of which are made with Heritage Brewing Beer. My only gripe with their sauce is they dont offer an Alabama white sauce. On chicken, there is nothing greater. One big selling point on them though is their craft beer wall. They only stock the wall with Virginia beers, though they do have regular favorites in the cooler behind the counter. You can either pop in and buy local beers to take home, or enjoy cold ones with your meal in the restaurant. You can even create your own six pack to take home with you. All in all its not a bad place. A little fine tuning here and there and it could rival old local favorites that have been around much longer.

Im never coming here again. I went here yesterday during the Christmas parade, the manager who took our order was talking to her co workers instead of to us the whole time we were trying to order. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, but it was literally just big chunks of cold meat with lots of fat in it and totally dry with barely any smokey flavor. And the potato salad was old and sour tasting and not even cold, but room temperature. I told this same manager I wanted a refund. She asked what was wrong and then continued to talk to her employees and never said sorry or that shed look into it like any other place would have. Rude and unprofessional. Plus as I was leaving, one of the employees starting grabbing my shopping bag on my table and looking through it! No one should be touching a customers possessions. This is almost the equivalant of going through my purse! P.S. The Bone, I was seriously considering telling one of the many cops there yesterday that your employee was going through my belongings. You and her are lucky I didnt.

I wanted to give them 5 starts but the inconsistency is whats disappointing, their portions fluctuate but the price doesnt , what I mean by that is I ordered the same platter five times and it has been different every single time when it comes to portion, the first time I felt like I got my $25 worth I got three ribs some good portions 3 cornbread, the second time the portions were smaller I only got two pieces of cornbread for the same price, third time even less only two ribs (insted of 3) the mac and cheese tasted terrible and portions were small and only 1 cornbread, the 3rd time it was like they gave me leftovers, I can keep going but its like every time you order they give you less and that doesnt make it worth the amount of money you pay, i want to eat here again but with the inconsistency in the portions Im afraid to, i dont want to pay 25$ and get even less. If i go back and they fix this problem with inconsistency i will update the review.

WORST BBQ PLACE IN VA!!!!! the food was below average just kinda thrown together. my appetizer came out at the same time as my food and the manager who brought it it out to us pretty much just dropped it on the table!! She was by far the rudest manager i have ever encountered. I went back in to get sauces and asked where they were and she pointed but said nothing. RUDE !!! i was very excited that this place opened in manassas because i love the gainesville location. I was very Disappointed and will not be returning.

We had a great experience in January 2015 at the bone. The pulled pork nachos were fantastic, and both be pulled pork and the brisket were both full of flavor. Portions were decent size and price was fair. Most of the products that this restaurant uses our local which is great. While we were in the restaurant several repeat customers came in and the staff seemed to know them by name. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family and I would come back again.

We stumbled upon The Bone BBQ today while visiting the Manassas Farmers Market. It was great. Being from Eastern NC I must say that this was far better pulled pork than what I normally see elsewhere, either in NC or around here. It was tender, moist, and very tasty. The slaw was also great as was the cornbread muffin. I tried their House Sauce and had a side of sweet tea. I highly recommend The Bone and will certainly return again to try other items on their menu.

This place was great. Tonight was our first time here and it was honesty great. Its hard to find a good bbq place but we finally found one. We tried the pulled pork nachos pulled pork sandwich and the chicken wings. All great choices!!! The nachos were loaded with pork so was the sandwich. The chicken wings had lots of flavor. Definitely will be returning and would recommend to everyone!!!

Have gone here a number of times, staff and management are always AWESOME...Wings are are by far the best around, and again staff and management are always awesome, in fact I have stayed longer just talking and laughing with the manager and staff, not only is the food is great but the entire staff is as well....Big reason why I keep coming back is just to talk to the team there as well...

Its OK. For my money and time Id rather enjoy a meal at Willards. Everything here is fine, but nothing was GOOD. We tried the brisket, pulled pork, and ribs with cole slaw and beans on the side. I only like the pork. The ribs and brisket were tough and bland. For $40 I prefer to leave a restaurant full, not looking forward to a snack when I get home.

Best brisket youll find east of the mississippi , I usually get the sampler platter and its enough to take some home for later . The staff is awesome and service is quick . Local brews and and wine ,love this joint . Ya gotta get there and eat some of the best bbq in NOVA , Ive had bbq all over the country and this place stands tall !!

The food is absolutely mouth-watering good. The pulled pork almost melts in your mouth. They have some unique sauces too. Its a tad pricier than other nearby Bar-b-que joints (it IS right in the middle of Old Town Manassas), but the quality of the food makes it worth the extra expense. I certainly will be eating there again!

Coming from the West coast this is exactly what I was searching for when looking for "good BBQ". I enjoyed chopped brisket, beans, collared greens and a corn bread muffin. The food was absolutely perfect, and the serving size was spot on. If Im ever in the area again I will certainly come back to The Bone.

We love The Bone! My husband doesnt gush about food quality but he made a point of praising their food to the staff. He lives their brisket and ribs especially. My daughter and I enjoy the Cajun Chopped Salad. Weve had their catering too and everything was awesome. Costco sell gift cards for them too.
