Hard to call this restaurant fine dining. Food was just so so. Lamb shank fatty and sauce was watery. Salmon dish was way too salty. Server couldnt have care less. We cut our evening short, tried to get server to pick pick up our bill but to no avail. Ended up handing it to another server on our way out. Need to do better Trick Dog if you want to be a fine dining experience!

Trendy decor. Service was excellent. I enjoyed the garlic and basil scallops over fettucini and my husband had that evenings special - chesapeake bay rockfish over roasted tomato rissotto and broccoli rabe. We had the calamari starter and split a bowl of corn chowder (wow!). Every single dish was amazing. Will definitely be back!

While traveling through Irvington, I stopped by and ate at the bar. Good selection of craft beers and a nice wine menu. The crab sandwich was absolutely delicious. The bartender, Lynn, was charming and the crowd, many locals on a first name basis, was friendly. I hope that I have the chance to return.

A little piece of Manhattan in the heart of a small waterside village. The atmosphere is great, food is very tasty, and theres a beautiful long bar full of friendly locals most nights. Ive personally enjoyed super burgers, crab cakes, soft shell crabs, calamari, gourmet macaroni, and salmon.

Stopped in on Tuesday night and order the filet and soup. It took an hour for me to get my food. The steak was very tough and was difficult to even cut. This was sad as I really like the menu selections etc. I will not return

Best dinner menu in the Northern Neck, really enjoyed the lamb and feta whipped potatoes. Also had steak on another visit, quite good. Drinks are pretty expensive but well prepared, attentive service.

Had one of the specials, filet and lump crab cake. Flame grilled steak, cooked perfectly, lump crab cake is the best around. A quiet and non rushed place to eat. Love it

On vacation in the area and was recommended to the Trick Dog. Great food, fun bartender and nice décor. We ate there 2 out of 3 nights. Yum

The best lump crab cakes that I have ever eaten.Excellent conch chowder. Very good salad, but they should serve the dressing on the side.

The seafood chowder was the best that I have ever had. The crab cakes were really good....prepared with lump crab meat with no filler.

Great food. Depending on where you sit can be either great local place to hang out with friends and family or nice romantic dinner.

Good food but ownership keeps changing. Go for the drinks and the apps, full meal will cost you more than it should.

Wings are not bad. Hot dogs were like sausages in a loaf of italian bread; way too much bread
