First time here and not a good experience at all. Took several minutes to get menus. Ordered fish and chips and creamed spinach (was pretty certain menu said it comes with one side dish). Waiter came back and asked if I wanted the creamed spinach or the fries. I said doesnt it come with one side? He said well, its fish and chips, so the fries are the side dish. I figured maybe I read it wrong so I didnt argue and went with just the fries. Food came out and he hands me the fish and chips and the creamed spinach and says, "I brought you the creamed spinach anyway". Im thinking he did it as a nice gesture. So, i get ready to eat my fish and chips and see that theres no tartar sauce or anything. I ask for tartar sauce and he brings some out in a small plastic cup. I get ready to put it on my fish only to see at least two huge, hard chunks of who knows what! We showed the waiter and he quickly said "its pickles", "all tartar sauce has pickles, its our homemade sauce, but if you dont like that then heres a non homemade one, maybe thatll be more to your liking" (was kind of all done in a dismissive, snarky tone). Meanwhile, my boyfriend got vegetarian flatbread and was not happy with it. Said it had an off taste so he stopped eating it and decided not to get anything else. The fries were wimpy and dark brown which usually indicates old oil. At that point, I peeked at the menu again just to see if I was right about the fish & chips... and I was. It clearly said fish and chips PLUS one side. We pointed this out and he said that was his mistake. However, he did not say that he made a mistake when he brought the side dish out but rather made it seem like he was doing me a favor. I also cut into one of those chunks in the tartar sauce and it was NOT pickle.... It was all white. I showed it to the waiter and he simply said that their tartar mustve gotten mixed up with some cheese cubes. Again, did not really apologize until after we asked for a manager at the end (scary thing is he said hes one of the managers...yikes!). He did not at any time bother to look at the menu to verify if my meal was in fact supposed to come with a side dish nor look at what those chunks were in my tartar sauce other than saying theyre just pickles (those were some pretty darn big "pickles"... They made a clank sound when they hit the plate!). What if someone has a cheese allergy or is lactose intolerant? (I happen to work for the Health Dept. & thats kind of scary not to mention just plain gross.) We asked him to comp the meal and he begrudgingly did so. Again, he did end up apologizing, but it was too little, too late and what he said didnt match his expressions and demeanor. Very, very poor customer service! We will not be coming back again.

We showed up at 7:10PM. Our reservation for 10 was at 7PM. We stood in line for about 10 minutes to see the hostess. She informed us our table wasnt ready. Now I dont run a restaurant, but Ive certainly been to quite a few (yep. fat guy). There were only three parties in the dining room. One of them was large. The others appeared to be groups of 4. The outside area was pretty busy. I figured knowing a party of 10 was coming would motivate them to have the table ready. So we wait for 25 minutes for our table. We sit and go over the drink list. Our waitress appears after 10 minutes. Apologizes for the wait and takes our drink orders. We also ask for water for everyone. She brings a pitcher of water and a bunch of plastic cups. One pitcher for 10 people. 5 people got water. I got ice. Everyone else went without. 10 minutes till 9, we still have not received our drinks. Nor had anyone checked on us. We left a 5 on the table for the soda my buddy got and left. The waitress was at the bar as we were walking out. She watched each and every one of us and didnt say a thing. She DID apologize when one of my buddies told her we were leaving. But that was it. We went to another local grill who stated theyve had a lot of people come to their spot after this experience. Guys, I dont know whats going on over there, but I was really looking forward to some good food. My wife raves about your place and I wanted to check it out. Please fix it.

Stopped in for some lunch, and decided to order the large crabs. While waiting, we got a couple of drinks (beer and a grapefruit crush), and the beer was ice cold and the crush was one of the best Ive tasted. As the crab order was taking a little time, one of the waitresses suggested we try the crab soups (regular and cream), and both of those were excellent. Our waitress returned to us after waiting over 45 minutes for our crabs and apologized for a glitch in the POS system which deleted our order. She said she would put the order in again and upgrade us to the next larger sized crabs at no extra charge. To further compensate us for the wait, she even comped us a bucket of beer. Once the crabs finally came out, they were hot and delicious, and worth waiting for. Another staff member and her daughter engaged us in an interesting conversation about the restaurant and the local area while we waited. Unless the staff there thought we were undercover restaurant critics, I have to commend them on the excellent treatment and exceptional food they provided. What an outstanding experience we received in the sparsely filled outdoor dining area today. If they treat everyone this way, you have to go and check this place out, as I highly recommend it.

A great place for food and drink...usually. Except for tonight. At all costs avoid the fat chick with black hair, too much eye liner and ill fitting yoga pants working the boat bar (9/4/16). After spending $50+ on drinks we asked her 3 times for menus. Each time she replied that yes she did have menus, but it would be too much effort for her "to run" (doubtful if you could have seen her) to the restuarant and retrieve the food. After the 3rd try, we said never mind and moved to the restuarant. Wow...just as we got up, we saw her bring out salad and wings to another customer at the bar. A that point she would not even make eye contact. Oh well, I will stick to stopping by the bar during the day for lunch and leave it at that.

We had a party of 16. We placed our orders for crabs, wings, nachos and steam shrimp. Other tables got their food and crabs before us that placed their order after us. Never got the wings, nachos and fries. When we asked we were told its on its way. The steam shrimp was over cooked and still no wings, fries and nachos. Took over 1 hour to get our check. We asked to speak to the manager. She never came to our table. We will never go back.
