On today 12/2/2011, I went to M&A Seafood and experienced something horrible. I order a #14 the 1/4 pound scallop and 6 Shrimp Dinner. Then I added a 1/4 pound of scallop and 1/2 pound of shrimp. My order came to $16.71. I leave and go to visit a friend who just had a baby whom I wanted to share my meal with. However once I began eating I noticed that my food didnt taste right. At first I thought that it was just my taste buds acting funny because I hadnt eaten anything all day however I was wrong. The more I ate maybe I ate 6 to 8 pieces of shrimp and a few pieces of scallop. I let my fried know the food was NASTY and tasted EXTREMELY FISHY. My friend tried a piece and tasted the same fishy shrimp. I call M&A back and let them know that I didnt like the food. She told me ok I can come back and it will be replaced. I told her it would be about 1 hour before I return and she said ok just call back before I come. So when I called back a male answered and I told him I was on my way back in and explained what happened. When I arrive at the store I return the food that I had not eaten back to him and before I could even say anything else he opens it and says that "I have never seen someone who does not like food eat more than 1 piece". He then proceeds to ask another customer what she thought about that. The customer asked why I was returning my food trying to be professional as to not discourage her from purchasing something I just say I didnt like it. The male then takes her order and I just stand there waiting for him to finally address me. He takes 10.00 out of the register and gives it to me. I turn and leave. Absolutely UPSET, knowing I would never return to this store. I call the restaurant to speak to the male to let him know how I felt. As soon as I begin to talk he says nothing another call comes through he never says hold on or puts me on hold. He answers their call takes their order and hangs up on me. Moral of the story is to be warned before going here. He only wants your money. He is not concerned with the quality of his food. I have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions and probably have spent in the last 2 years more than $500.00 maybe even closer to $1000.00 and to get treated in such a manner. I am appalled and utterly disgusted. I have recommended this place to a lot of friends. NEVER AGAIN!
