The atmosphere is good and the space itself is welcoming and very well lit. I do not like that there is inconsistency with their drinks. Some of the baristas are either not well trained or they just do a mediocre job with some drinks, e.g., café con leche and lattes, which is highly disappointing. However, what I find the most disappointing is the inconsistency of service. Some days when I visit Im welcomed warmly by the baristas and receive great service. Unfortunately one of the younger female employees is very rude, Ive had multiple interactions with her and she has been rude and even aggressive in her interactions with me. I do not understand why she would do that and Im very sorry to rate the café a mere two stars due to the poor service from one employee but I believe this should be addressed so that other customers dont experience such bad service from her. Instead of feeling like Im in a nice working environment I feel like Im trying to understand why she has such negative attitude. Change this and I will gladly change my review as I enjoy the café itself and the multiple locations and light fare offerings.

Best coffee in Charlottesville by far. This new location has a great feel inside and their training must be great because the coffee is just has great as their other locations. Had an iced americano and a hot flat white and both were great. This one even has good food options.

Love trying local third waves. Cappuccino was all foam... barely tasted any coffee and what I did taste had somewhat of an astringent overtone. Barista couldnt take the time to smile or say thank you. I guess that ok for some people!
