I ordered a Pad Thai, steamed dumplings, and white rice. It was a little over $20. The lady that took my money when I came in made it seem like I was inconveniencing her. Got to my destination to eat and first thing i realized was these rectangle looking things. I dont know if it was mushrooms or tofu but it was mushy and disgusting. There was way more of that stuff than the beef. Then the sauce or whatever was on the Pad Thai was gritty and very vinegary. It tasted like nothing I have ever had before and Pad Thai is my favorite! But this place made me not want it at all! The dumplings smelled like a farm, LITERALLY! There was way too much dough and not enough meat. I ended up throwing away half of the dough. That night my stomach was hurting so bad and I woke up to constant diarrhea and nauseousness. I ended up throwing away most of the food and wasting my time and money. I will not be eating here again. This experience has traumatized me. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Fresh vegetables and brown rice are what I first noticed about this restaurant. I also like the large dining room, and last but not least, proximity to my office. This is a "Chinese" Restaurant serving Chinese-American food in a beautiful dining room. The most creative menu item is "Patent Examiner Special" (Chicken with broccoli, snow peas, and asparagus in garlic sauce). There is free parking in front of the restaraunt. There is no table service: you pick up your order from the counter, and dispense your own drinks. It is related to "Hunan Cafe" of Falls Church. The menu states "no MSG", "no microwave", "100% vegetable oil", "fresh", not canned, vegetables, and "low sodium salt". The open dining room is dominated by dark wood tables and fish tank. The floor plan is open and calming during off times. However, it is usually packed at lunch time, and can get very noisy. Chinese and other Asian langauges are spoken here by staff and clients.

Food was pretty bland. We had sesame chicken with white rice and steamed dumplings. The sesame didnt have much taste at all. I asked for noodles instead of rice and was willing to pay an upcharge but they would not allow it. Instead they suggested I buy an entire order of noodles at $8.75...uh, no. The dumplings didnt have much taste either and they had a ton of extra dumpling wrapper (dont know what to call it) so I found myself cutting off the extra to have just a little with the meat inside. The place inside was very nice if you want to eat in or if weather is good, you can eat outside. Staff was pleasant enough just didnt seem to have ability to work with me on the noodles or didnt want to. Food was bland enough that I wont be back. Too bad b/c it is close and I was hoping for it to be good.

I went to this place for lunch. I have to admit, I was expecting a dump but this place was pretty good. Its halfway between your average Chinese take-out and a much nicer sit down Chinese restaurant. The atmosphere and furniture seemed new and stylish and the bathroom was clean. The food was served from the counter and the staff gave you remote buzzers for when it was ready. The food seemed like it had good sized portions and tasted like it was made with fresh ingredients. Overall, a good place to stop for lunch. Ill probably be back.

Ordered my food at 1:12pm through their website. Food showed up at 2:52p.m. Food tastes good, but when I called at 2:00pm I was told my order had already left by the person that sighed when I asked where my food was. Its quite obvious someone was not paying attention to their online ordering and they forgot my order. I was offered no discount, no refund, charged my original amount, and they had already processed my card with the tip on it so I couldnt even rescind that. Not impressed. At all.

Ordered egg drop soup and it was nasty flavor and weird color . (I even had to throw it away after one spoonful.) and also got two orders of chicken wings but also nasty glavor and they were half wings , not even full wings ...most Chinese places Ive been to give you a full wing but this place only gives you the little drumettes(and the really cheap small ones ). ..waste of money. ....never would order again from this place! !!!!!!

I am really disappointed! Ordered shrimp with broccoli and a soda. My meal literally only came with 5 shrimp with a mother load of brocolli. LITERALLY ONLY 5 SHRIMP!!!!!! Paid $10.95 for the lunch special with a drink. I really feel cheated. I know it is a well known joke about lack of shrimp in shrimp friend rice but come on 5 shrimp!!!!

Was given some attitude by their delivery person, when I ordered my food to pay by card and the person came without a swiper. He demanded the food back insinuating I was in the wrong. He should have let me and my family eat and come back with his credit card machine but he demanded otherwise. Horrible experience, horrible lunch.

Foods great, but delivery driver is not. Ill never order from here again. I gave an 11% tip to the delivery driver (its all I had on me at the a time) and he, literally, snatched from my hand in disgust and then stomped away in a huff. If he doesnt like it, I can fix that and just order from someone else in the future.

They tried to hand my card to someone else, give me someones receipt to sign, and it took a long time to fix this because they took a phone call during this screwup. Bonus: they pile the cards on the vibrating pagers, so expect your card to get erased. Meanwhile, the food is mediocre on a good day.

Went for lunch with a colleague yesterday and the food was terrible. It had absolutely no flavor and the presentation looked like they didnt care. How do you mess up General Tsos chicken?! The "fried" rice looked like it was just Boil-in-a-bag rice… just terrible. I will NEVER eat here again!

Fried rice is really bad, this is not like authentic chinese. Nothing here taste good. Crispy fried beef is so sweet (it is like biting on brown sugar). Chicken wings are dried and hard. They give big quanity, but the taste is not there. Dont waste your money by going here.

This is my favorite chinese place...food is consistently good. They also started delivering which makes it even easier to get their food. I recommend the fried rice (any of them) and crab rangoon...I have leftovers in my fridge right now.

The food is excellent. There used to be real bowls but, now they use styrofoam. The portions are generous enough to share. If you come, bring a friend and eat up! Order at the front and they will call you.

Not very good, the fried rice is rice with soy sauce, the egg rolls are usually cold and greasy...simply not very good, poor preparation.

Not the greatest but you can get lunch here (entree, rice, egg roll and drink) for 9 bucks. More than enough to give it an extra star
