The good is great, but the wait is ridiculous. I was in line for 45 minutes, and there were only 15 or 20 people in front of me. The biggest process improvement they could make is to allow the cashier to focus on taking orders and bagging them. Since there isnt a receipt, hes the only person who knows what was ordered. Everything else should be handled by someone else. The cashier often got distracted and had to stop, put on gloves, and fill sauce cups; refills sauce containers for the back line; and put sides containers...meanwhile food is sitting there waiting. Again, the food is great, but I dont spend that kind of time waiting around. Everything is already prepared, theyre just cutting it and wrapping it in foil. Someone in line told me you can can ahead before 9am. Ill try that next time.

What a shame, we didnt get to try it. We stood in line for 30 min on a Saturday at 2 pm with 20 people in front of us and only moved 1 foot. After 30 min they announced the chicken was out. We decided we were tired of waiting in line so left and ate elsewhere. After we ate somewhere else we drove by the pit and the guy that was right in front of us was finally at the front of the line ..... it would have been a 70 min wait with only 20 people in front of us! Slow, slow, slow! I will never attempt standing in that line again!

Im no BBQ expert, but I know good food when I taste it. These guys know what they are doing. I had a half rack of ribs today that changed my world. I recommend ordering the BBQ sauce on the side. My daddy always said if the ribs are done right they dont need sauce. The bad news is you may have to stand in line for a while for a taste. But its worth it. I cant believe some of the reviews on here. Too long of a wait? Kids are late for soccer practice or whatever? Who cares.

If this place is open when you pass by, do yourself a favor and pull over. The BBQ is great probably one of the best Ive ever had. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly. Everything on the menu is great, I would recommend the smoked chicken salad, ribs or pulled pork sandwich. But whatever you get you will not be disappointed. But hurry up once they are out of something they are out of it till the next day.

Best bar-b-q sandwiches and ribs around. Meats falls off bones, sauce is delicious and the side orders including baked beans are delicious. You should get there between 11-2 or your favorites could be sold out. A must go to place on the weekends when traveling in Aldie, VA/Route 15/50 area.

Wait times are excessive. Food was really good and is unfortunately quickly declining. Expect to wait in line for 45 min to an hour, with an average of 8-10 folks in front of you. Hard to believe given that the food is all precooked.

The smoked chicken salad was worth the wait. Good chopped pork sandwiches, too. Their BBQ sauce has just enough spices to tingle your tongue and they lay it on thick. Wish it were a bit less expensive, or I would give them 5 stars.

This is the best BBQ north of the Carolinas. The pulled pork, smoked chicken salad, ribs, barbecue chicken...Its all good. A shame that they are only open on weekends. They even manage to make kale taste wonderful.
