It was slightly overpriced compared to some of the bigger names such as Cafe Rio as some of their dishes were more expensive. Their food was tasty & the staff was friendly. We did have to wait an extra minute or two on our Sauce for our enchiladas which were on the small side & the meat for our salad which did not come with beans or rice as many Mexican salads like ours did, however that means they were making it fresh.

The food is delicious and healthy. They are kind and careful with gluten free orders. The food is mostly cilantro free - even the guacamole and pico de gallo - here its served on the side, for those who prefer their food without deathweed, or in large fresh handfulls for those who like it. We drive way out of our way to eat here. Totally worth it!

Has great food and service. Green Chile Chicken Quesadilla or salad are awesome! Excellent service and atmosphere. Kids also love the food! Definitely stands above the rest of the other similar restaurants. Weve been going for years and will continue for many more. The whole family loves it!

This is real authentic Mexican food with a Costa Vida type ordering, but I can tell you that Mellow Pepper is SO much better than cafe Rio or Costa Vida, the food is SO fresh, none of the food tastes like it came in big box packaging. You have to check this place out if you want Mexican food.

Great competition to Costa Vida and Cafe Rio. They have their own authentic twist with different flavor combinations that leave you wanting more. Their service is a little on the slower side however.
