As someone who used to work there (it was nearly 6 months ago, so I dont know how different it is now) Ive noticed some things 1) "mini" doesnt mean what you think it means, a mini shake is a shake, in one of the small drink cups (not a kids drink cup, but a small) and then, because they are thick, they extended above the cup, meaning its a really big shake. 2) there isnt anyway to make a drinkable milkshake at Iceberg. Thats just how it is, I worked there for nearly 9 months there, and Im confident that milk didnt exist in the store, so for anyone who wants a milkshake, youre not going to get it because its impossible to make with the ingredients we had 3) food is made to order, meaning that naturally itll take a little longer to get peoples food out to them, especially if its a bigger meal, however, I can tell you with confidence that it never took 30 minutes with only 1-2 orders. 4) while obviously I cant excuse that some people simply werent very good doing customer service, I can for a fact say that often times, our shifts were understaffed which meant Id be running from taking an order, to making a shake to delivering an order to trying to restock stuff and all in the course of 5 minutes, and doing that a whole night can really burn you out 5) another reason service can be crappy was that someone was always being trained, seriously, always. If I can think of anything else to explain Ill make another review, but for now, I hope this is a bit helpful with at least everything I was

Food is good & shakes are great, but every time I come here the service is awful. It is so slow! I understand that making delicious shakes takes time, but the staff here has now sense of urgency or desire to get food or shakes out in a timely manner. You wait for them to take your order, half the time they dont even know the menu to be able to help you or take your order efficiently, but then you wait for your items for 10-20 minutes in the drive through. The kids working there dont seem happy or like they want to be there. Their customer service and work ethic is horrible. The worst part, when you finally get your food/shake the order is wrong and your fries are cold. Speed up & do a better job! It feels like they think that because there arent a lot of eating options in Syracuse they can just do an ok job and people will still come. UPDATE: After just waiting in the drive through for nearly 25 minutes with one car ahead of me I finally got my food. Not only was my order wrong; my 2 cheeseburger combo had only 1 cheeseburger and my Cookie Dough Shake with extra cookie dough was a crunchy chocolate shell and cookies and cream shake with nothing extra. The kid didnt say thank you or sorry for the wait or have a great day or anything for that matter. I wont be going back.

So, I recognize that iceberg is "famous" for their thick shakes. But, I wanted a milkshake..not soft serve ice cream in a cup. The other place in town failed to deliver on this request and so did Iceberg. I ordered a chocolate milkshake and specifically asked the gal to add milk (thus the name milkshake) and I told her it was so that I could drink it through a straw. She brought it to me a few min later but had not added milk as the "shake" was higher than the cup because it was so thick...and there was no straw, just a long spoon. When I asked for a straw, she got me one, but asked "why?"..I reminder her that I had ordered a "milk"shake and that I had told her that I wanted to actually drink it. Her response..."thats not how milkshakes are made". Like the other burger place in town, I guess actually ordering something specific does not matter. The fact that they were unable to make a milkshake even when specifically requested tells me to take my business elsewhere. It did taste good...but it wasnt a milkshake.

Terrible experience. Walked in and waited at the counter for over 5 minutes while the kid, who was just standing there yelled to the girl in the back to help us... apparently his phone was more important... ordered corndogs and a shake for myself and a burger and fries for my husband. The shake was Ok, but Ive had better. The burger was dry, Luke warm, and just thrown together... And the corndogs were black, they were so burnt that the breading crumbled off by just picking it up!! The last time I came in was months ago and the corndogs I got then werent even cooked, AT ALL, they were still ice cold in the middle. Definitely not coming back! Ill drive to the next town for a shake and corndog! Definitely not worth my money, nor my time... as we waited for over 30 minutes for this poor excuse of food! Very rude, unprofessional employees... And food thats barely even edible. Im surprised that this place is even still open!

First and last time here. Service sucks. Food is subpar for the price. I ordered spicy fries and when they brought me regular fries I showed them my receipt and said I paid for spicy fries. The boy didnt even apologize he just grabbed the regular fries from the tray and yelled back to the kitchen "these were supposed to be spicy fries!!" 20 minutes later I am still waiting for them. What a joke. I wont be back. Update : I had to go up to the counter and ask where my fries were after being passed by several times without anyone asking if I was OK. The boy in the kitchen sat at the pass thru window and said "theyll literally be 55 seconds" after waiting 20 minutes Id think they should have been done already.... Horrible horrible horrible. Management needs to hire better workers or train them better or something...

I have always loved iceberg but this particular location just sucks. Ive tried it four times hoping for the iceberg experience Ive known for years. The staff is rude and acts like they dont want to be there, Ive waited at the drive through for 10 minutes while they were open with nobody in line without anybody talking through the speaker, the fries are never crispy like they should be and they act annoyed when you ask for grilled onions and they certainly never offer them. And this is from different employees every time. Its fast food, i get that the job sucks but comon guys, hire people who want to be there. I wont be coming back to this one. I understand why theres never a wait, nobody wants to go there. I miss the herriman one with long lines, happy and grateful employees and food cooked the way Iceburg intended.

I am currently sitting in the restaraunt. It is filthy there is food on the walls. We have been waiting for about 30 minutes for 3 milkshakes. The guy at the counter told us that the only difference between the shakes are that "some of them are more expensive." I did get a cheeseburger while we have been waiting and it was not very good; the buns were really cheap, no toppings except that processed cheese. He just brought the shakes to our table and they were the wrong sizes. He cant tell us which ones are which. This is pathetic. Also we cant tell which shakes are which so that tells you how utterly bland they are. Nothing special here, just the employees.
