The worst chicken Ive ever had. I went for lunch during work. I ordered the Artichoke & Tomatoe Chicken. My first bite of chicken only was bland and dry. Every bite thereafter was bland and dry. I even tried to include artichoke and tomato with every bite to give it more flavor but that didnt help at all! The potatoes were the best part, but overall, I dont eat those type of carbs. There was no salt on any of the dish and the cream sauce bed was unidentifiable. I would not recommend this dish at all. I would have returned my dish for something else, but they were too busy to hassle with it - which is weird. The service was good. Food came out fast and the staff was attentive. When I got back to work, I found out my coworker had a working lunch catered by the same Blue Lemon and she said she is embarrassed that she served lunch from there. Unfortunate, as Blue Lemon used to be a go-to place and we order a lot of catering at my place of business.- Sorry Blue Lemon, but the way you cook the chicken is NOT good.

I hadnt been to blue lemon in over 4 years. We used to go to the Holladay location several times a month if not weekly. I stopped going because the food quality and taste was rapidly delclining. Plus, after my sister worked there and had her boss buying all the under aged kids alcohol, I was a little turned off my the place. I purchased 3 kids meals, 2 entrees (waters to drink) and a half appetizer for a total of over $55. Thats definitely on the expensive side for our family of 5. The braised beef was good, but as i remembered, small. The hamburger my husband got was ok. Our appetizer, which I expected to come before our meals, was brought out with all our food. To me, thats just a waste and i would not have ordered it had i known. We wont be returning anytime soon, but I will say the food has improved slightly in taste. I was also disappointed that the draper location didnt have the cool coke machine like the Holladay store. My kids were bummed and had i ordered a drink I would have asked for a refund!

Used to eat here all the time dont know if they have be management or what but we came and there were only 2 tables people were sitting at but all the rest but one were dirty and it didnt seem like there was any hurry to get them clean. We ordered our food and they had taken away the peanut butter bar (one of the reasons we come). I ordered the tacos, the price is the same but they now give you 2 instead of 3 tacos.... how does that make sense? And the cherry on top is that 20 minutes after the rest of the food came out my wifes food still hadnt come out so i went to see what was going on. Yup, you guessed it, They forgot it. Seriously not impressed hopefully that get their stuff together soon. This used to be a great place to come eat

Mothers day lunch was a bit of a disappointment. My son ordered Mac n cheese from the childrens menu...his usual favorite at most places. He said it had no flavor, so I tried it and he was right... absolutely no flavor...just dry orange noodles. How can you mess up basic mac n cheese? Another person in our party ordered fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp (a $14 dish) and she said the same thing, it had no flavor....she was obviously very disappointed in what is usually a favorite dish. Im not sure if the cook had a bad day or if the recipes are just bad...but hopefully they can improve these dishes. The raspberry chicken salad and chicken flat bread we ordered were both good, so not a total disappointment.

Food was excellent. The cashier was brain dead and couldnt care less about the malfunctioning menu and didnt make an effort to describe the selection unavailable for viewing. She didnt even know what fountain drinks were available either. It was not a welcoming response. Other employees were clearly friendlier and accommodating upon observation. People remember how they are treated even when they spend their hard earned bucks on a simple lunch. Takes little extra effort to make it a human experience and to extend genuine hospitality. Outside tables need to be wiped down also. Attention to detail would have garnered 5 stars. So it goes.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! The beginning of my blue lemon experience started out fair then immediately went downhill after I ordered! I got the chocolate cake and it was the driest cake Ive ever had. Then they messed up my order and gave me both tomato and onions both of which I specifically asked not to have. While picking off these I was incredibly horrified to find a long black hair on my plate minds you everyone in my group was blonde. I was so disappointed with the service I immediately left and went to Einstein bagels instead where I had a much better experience.

A really good place with fresh food and fast service. Of all the Blue Lemon locations, the Sandy location is my favorite. It seems very well managed, and the food is always hot and is served fairly quickly. I did take away a star because there is frequently (Id say about 2 out of 3 times) something off or missing from my order: no salad dressing on my salad, onions left on when I asked for no onions, that kind of thing. Not exactly a deal breaker, but enough to dock a star. Still, great place with a nice atmosphere and, like I said, really fresh food.

I used to love blue lemon but it has gone downhill over the past 2 years. Tonight, when trying to find a table in a mostly empty restaurant, we saw multiple tables that were dirty. The grilled cheese we ordered for my son was burnt. My sweet potatoes fries were burnt and all about 1 inch long. The chicken they use in sandwiches and salads has always been blah - but today it had a distinctively boiled chicken taste. And to boot, they no longer sell Coke products. They carry Pepsi instead. Seriously disappointed.

We loved our experience at the Blue Lemon. After my sister and her husband recommended it to us, we stopped by as a family to try it out for dinner. While the prices were pretty high (which is the reason the fifth star was lost), we thoroughly enjoyed the food. It was delivered to us quickly and the portion sizes were reasonable. The restaurant is styled like a bright, trendy beach house and the food reflected the lightness of the decor. Overall, its a great place to eat if you dont mind the high prices.

If you are have sophisticated tastes, you will like Blue Lemon. They put a gourmet spin on typical sandwiches and other bistro selections. Prices are on par with similar places. Note: if you have simple tastes, like I do, Blue Lemon is probably not for you as there is nothing much in the way of simple comfort foods. One aspect of Blue Lemon that everyone can appreciate are their desserts. Some are fancy but others are simple and delicious. Well worth a try just for the desserts!

We decided to try this place and my girlfriend and I got the steak griller. We knew not to get our hopes up but what we got was truly inedible. Everything on our plates had been microwaved or barely cooked. Our medium rare steaks were grilled on the outside and almost raw on the inside. Nothing was seasoned. Maybe the rest of the menu isnt that bad but I doubt well go back to give it another shot. Proceed with caution...
